I don't know about that. Like I think he's struggled this year absolutely but to be fair this team sticks in their and fights. Doug needs to hand over play calling duties and he needs to bench Wentz. Then let's see.

The o line has been crap yes. But there’s been plenty of clean pockets this game and wentz has done nothing with them. Even when there’s receivers wide open and a clean pocket he’s still missing them.

That is the reason I defend him so much. He has not had a good year BUT the level of straight up bashing is ridiculous. Literally everything is his fault.

I wonder to what end though. The backup is less talented so it's not like he's making way for a better QB.

Maybe as a disciplinary action to put him on notice that what he's doing out there won't be tolerated any more. I guess it couldn't hurt to get his attention and introduce him to the concept of consequences.

So this is all 9 games now we can't say we've seen a decent game from Wentz or the team for 4 quarters.

Maybe next week.

From some fans perhaps. The reality is the OL has been very up and down, the play calling and game planning hasn't been good and Wentz has sucked. All of those are true.

I don't remember that at all. Then again, this off-season or lack there of, with Covid...I didn't really pay that much attention to the Eagles until late August. Any links to this story. I seriously didn't hear that. I'm curious as to what was said. It would definitely help explain the stubborn, predictable and lackluster play calling this year.

Because it depends what you mean by less talented? In terms of a ceiling? Yeah I agree. But even semi decent QB play right now has us in a better position in this team and on the year. 

So, when does Doug's new book "Clueless" come out?

We can only win prime time games this season. We have not won a single game 1pm est start and it will continue. I wish the redskins would take us out of our misery but they're losing too. I hope the G men can pick of some wins and take this division. This season is as good as gone.

I don’t buy that. Most of us that are calling for him to be benched were extremely supportive of him until recently. But we just can’t do it anymore.

It's not just the play-calling, though.  The team looks genuinely unprepared and lacking focus or energy.  That goes beyond talent.  Look at how the Giants are playing, for instance.  That's why I am beginning to believe those rumors.  I really am wondering if a major problem is Doug.  

Since we've had Doug, we routinely look like garbage in the first half of games coming out of the bye. 

I'll wait for the second half to finish, but my seat on the wagon might be up for grabs soon.
