I don't mind Reagor, but pissed that Dallas got Lamb just a couple spots ahead of us......I f'ing hate Dallas.

I don't mind Reagor at 53, but 21 is too high for a faster Agholor in this draft class, I've yet to find a prospects ranking that has Reagor ahead of Jefferson, Higgins or Aiyuk.

Meanwhile I shudder to think what Dallarse will do to our secondary with Cooper, Lamb and Gallup on the field.

a lot of mixed reviews on this pick. i’m in the school of thought that we could’ve had this guy at the end of the round and should’ve traded down if possible. i wanna give howie the benefit of the doubt but i just can’t. he’s O for his life at drafting a wr. i’m gonna root for the guy to be great but it’s hard to be happy w the way the board fell and to end up with reagor

If we can get one of the next tier of receivers I’m all for it. Best to hedge your bets in case Raegor doesn’t pan out how we expect.

Yeah  I would have. Worked for Falcons with Julio Jones. I had a bad feeling Cowboys were going to take Lamb if Eagles didn't trade up for him, and that's what exactly happened. We would have taken Lamb away from Cowboys (win-win).

And what do the Falcons have to show for that?

Doing that deal would be idiotic, especially since this class was said to be very deep, but no one on the level of Jones or Megatron.

Raegor + 2nd round pick + 3rd round pick > Lamb

0:53, That mirrors Desean's punt return vs the Giants.

Other than running up the goal line, it looked like an almost perfect recreation.

They could have gotten this guy in the 2nd or 3rd round. I'm pissed they threw away another 1st round pick. You CAN't keep doing that, but they do. They could have gotten a 1st round WR AND this guy. Stupid.

Wrong.

He looks fast..... against subpar competition. Another wr bust drafted by the Eagles. Going to enjoy watching Reagor getting compared to Lamb for his whole career...

You know he plays in the same conference as Lamb, right?

Reagor is a speed demon who is a true home run hitter with mismatch speed. The ultra fast wideout can take the top off of a defense and is a threat to score anytime he touches the ball, similar to DeSean Jackson, Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown or Will Fuller. Reagor uses his speed to create separation and shows a nice ability to track the ball downfield. For a speed receiver who lacks size, he looks comfortable with defenders around him and does not seem to get afraid of hits coming his direction. Even though Reagor isn't a big receiver, he does a nice job of positioning himself to make contested catches.

Team sources say Reagor has no clue how to run a route and will need to be coached up on that. He has above average hands for a smaller speed receiver, but drops passes once in awhile. While being a dangerous receiver, Reagor also brings added value on special teams because he could be a dynamic returner in the NFL.

Reagor is worthy of being a late first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, but he probably will get selected in the second round. He could be a game-changing receiver as a pro.

While Jefferson is not a burner, he has enough quickness to get downfield and challenge defenses. He is a weapon to work the sideline and be tough wideout to defend on back shoulder, fades and slants.

Jefferson may not be a big separation receiver as a pro because he may not have elite speed to run by pro cornerbacks. He could be better off as a No. 2 receiver playing off a No. 1 and taking advantage of single coverage. It would help Jefferson to add some strength and fill out his frame for the next level.

dunno how you can be angry with this pick.  guy just has SPEED.  he had an off day during the combine, but if you watch his tape you can clearly tell he has another gear.

there's clips in that video where a db is on his hip, but after the catch reagor just smokes them.  and if the db gives him any room, he's gone.

this draft has a LOOOT of good receivers many could make an argument for, but not many had that extra gear.  we needed that.  too many times db's would be on the hip of our receivers and stay there.  reagor will stretch the field for carson and give him that downfield threat he missed when jaccpot went down.  as far as physical tools, reagor will give the team everything a younger jaccpot would.

With DJAX and Alshon at the end of their career, the J.J. Pick in the PY, we can't afford a miss.

I'm hoping this kid turns out to be a solid pro, the team needs it, not just now, but for the future.

I think no one is Angry at this kid. BUT you said it correct " guy just has SPEED"  Takes more then just speed. Hes a 2 route guy and needs a ton of work in this league. hands are avg at best.

I wouldnt have minded him if he was later in the first or if Jefferson was gone. But there are more SPEED Wrs still left with just as much talent as Reagor. There are no more complete WRs on the boards. Vikings are one of the best teams in finding WR talent and they sent in that card very fast and were laughing while doing it.

Reagor is significantly more comparable to DeSean Jackson than he is to Agholor.  Don’t understand why people keeping saying he’s like Agholor.

i want to see him with better qb play.  as been noted, he didn't have the best recently which could have factored into why his hands were being questioned.  carson (imho) would be a step up from that.

also, i'm not expecting jerry rice levels of route running from a guy we KNOW what we want from.  we want him to take the top off of defenses and create separation.  if he does that with a slugo or a go route in his rookie season, fantastic.

as far as jeffreson.. i don't want ANOTHER slot receiver, lacking that extra gear, that was helped by a qb having probably one of the best seasons of any college qb ever.

Would rather have had Jefferson, but this is where I am at.

Hes nothing like Nelson. I think people are comparing the possible drops and limited route tree.

Nelson however was a mid cross, dig type of guy where Reagor is a go or stop route guy. Reagor can track better. I compare Reagor more like a Tavon Austin used only for deeps and jet sweeps. he has a ton to learn. Moorehead needs to earn his paycheck teaching with Him and Whiteside how to run routes.

If anyone is concerned about his speed

I like this commentary on the pick by Moshe and Adam. The drops were mostly on screens when he took his eyes off the ball to run first which is easily fixable. He also gained 10lbs. before the combine which dropped his speed. He's legit 4.3. After Ruggs he was the fastest and quickest outside WR. Also has good football IQ. I think he's a winner. Now lets go get a LB. ( I would have picked Murray but I'll take Wilson!)

Just hoping Moorehead can turn this kid from a Tavon Austin to more of a Percy Harvin. Reagors success will be solely based on if Moorehead can get this kid to be a better route runner and improve those hands.

He would not have made it to day 2.  Just stop.

As far as I am concerned the Eagles drafting a really fast receiver with drop issues is better than drafting slow possession receivers who turn out to have drop issues.

There’s only one ball. And I disagree, I think you’re gonna be eating a lot of crow.

Isn't that grade based on team needs, so we could have picked Charlie Noname there and got a B- if he was a WR.

For the record SI had Jefferson ranked 16 overall and Reagor at 43, behind Higgins, Mims, Aiyuk and Shenault.

We're Al Davis Raiders, picking a fast guy ahead of everything else,  bringing up return skills in your interviews for a first round pick WR is f'ing embarassing.

Yes bringing up demonstrated positional versatility, what a dope!

Clearly not a college football fan. Him and Lamb play in the same conference. Watch his tape vs Jeff Okudah and Ohio State from 2018 and tell me how bad he looked.

No, he had no clue.

Jefferson was getting passes thrown to him from the number 1 pick in the draft who had a historic college season, all while playing with the best WR in the country drawing attention away from him. Can’t believe how upset people are that we didn’t pick up a slot WR in the first.
