You didn't do well with Punnett squares I am guessing?

Apparently not. I have blue eyes, the wife's are hazel and our youngest has blue eyes.

Na. William and Kate will go out there in a month or two with the kid or kids (do they have more than one?), probably announce she's pregnant, and know one who cares about the royal family will care about Markle. I've already seen people who care about this crap turn on Markle for "having no class like her family".

Yeah but it ain’t completely up to them.

The Punnett Square is helpful, especially for teaching kids the concepts of genetics, but it's not a totally cut-and-dry thing. From what I've gathered, geneticists only really have tentative understandings about how alleles interact and are expressed. DNA is wild. There's still much we don't know and no hard formula that you can use to determine a person's features. @DEagle7 might have some insight on this.

The third line is wrong, because my brown eyed Spanish wife and my blue eyed self have a green eyed daughter.

You are correct - the eye color is much more complicated than the two allele dominant/recessive brown/blue coloring - but the general idea is applicable for explaining why two brown eyed parents can have blue eyed children.

Good one, Kz!

So basically, 36 year old millionaire Harry is complaining that his multimillionaire Dad took his allowance away because he wouldn't work full time for the family company and wanted to pick and choose the bits he and wife wanted do, assuming the rest of the family would take the strain , while retaining all the perks and access to the rich people the family company has access to, allowing them to live off, sorry, commericialise, the family company name.

So they have been forced to slum it in a private mansion in California, living off of the $15 million inheritance from his Mothers estate and proceeds of a book they "didn't have anything to do with 😉😉😉" because the family don't love them anymore, and were forced to do a tell all to get more money to maintain their meagre lifestyle because his wife isn't the actress she thinks she is and he's basically bummed about since leaving the military, and has few skills other than being ginger and a party animal.  And because he is too meek to front up to his Dad, his wife (who clearly runs that household) did the hit job instead and sprinkled in some stuff to make them victims, to generate more money from gullible people down the line, who love to wallow in wokeness, etc.

While complaining about how their privacy is in danger from the press.

Aaaah, how the other side live eh?

Can you take Prince Andrew too?

First line is wrong too if the grandparents all have brown eyes.

Blue eyes are a recessive gene so it's actually the opposite. Both parents with blue eyes virtually guarantee the child will have blue eyes. But you could have both parents with brown eyes and still have a small chance for the child to have blue eyes if at least one grandparent had blue eyes.

Your son in law might've had a parent with blue eyes which would possibly make him a carrier of the recessive gene. But even if he didn't, it's still possible because of the mothers genes.

Can't recessive mean anyone in the family?  No grandparents with blue eyes, nor parents, but had a son born with blue.  Father had 3 sisters that were blue.

Given what happened with Diana, I find it very plausible that what Meghan and Harry are saying is true.  I would not be able to live my life in the eyes of constant press, and rules from "The Firm"  They have some really weird rules at that.  So, good for them stepping away in an attempt to live somewhat normal.

Can't believe how many CVONers have been tricked into raising another man's baby.

Yeah the recessive gene can be passed down multiple generations obviously, so it includes any offspring (e.g. aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) of progenitors. But generally speaking, and absent genetic testing, the chance of child being a carrier is lessened with each generation that passes without producing offspring with blue eyes. Meaning even if an aunt had blue eyes, that's not to say the mother with brown eyes is necessarily a carrier.

Wow so you're trying to tell me the largest symbol in the world of white imperialism is racist?

I just can't believe it. Impossible.

JUST LOOK AT THE DIFFERENCE!!!

Start with skin tone.

I do laugh at those screenshots from the Daily Wail - it's seeking victimhood or justifying Meghan and Harry's words.  There were plenty of stories before William's marriage around Kate's Mum being an air hostess when she was younger (how dreadful, darling) and the failed businesses in the family (can't trust them with the family silver, watch them in Windsor Castle!).  Let alone Pippa's failed love life or Kate getting papped topless in France. Or James being a bit of a wild child. Or Kate's shenanigans in college. Etc. I can well imagine the amount of Harry behaving badly stories that the "Firm" got removed from the press to do him a favour.

Meghan, in some respects, was treated waaaaaaaaaaay better than Kate or Fergie or Sophie were, because of her race and Harry's past.  Don't buy the carefully curated "everyone in the UK is racist and the press are totally recist" nonsense of Haz and Megs either. If Andrew had stropped like Harry did before his wedding, he'd have met Epstein way earlier than he did and wouldn't have kids of his own. The Royal Family, in retrospect, bent over backwards to accommodate that spoilt brat and his blushing bride to keep him happy.

And.... Harry is living off of his Great Gran's millions too. What a brave victim that man is.  Penniless?  Penniless, my arse

The only positive in this is Piers Morgan has got the sack from his job.
