By sheer volume of people it's smaller than the massively sprawling metropolis of... Conroe, TX.

Lets try it a different way....

The word of the day for you is dense.  As in your take.

Conroe TX has 20,000 LESS people than Evanston despite having TEN TIMES the land mass.

Your take is bad and you should feel bad.

I could easily dunk on you for getting, literally, every single verifiable fact in this post wrong.

But I think I'll let this one marinate in its own juices.

I don't know anything about Evanston, IL but you're misinterpreting his post when you say "made of black residents".  He said "made black residents prove...".  He didn't say it was full of black residents, he was saying they had to prove they were discriminated against.

I read it as him implying that it was a black community.

And before we argue this all day, the fact he also tried, TWICE, to paint it as a small town, means he knew nothing of it while trying to make a "point"

If we used Texas' sprawling cities as a gauge for city populations Philadelphia would encompass every surrounding county.

You are right... I read the 2010 population, not 2019.  Doesn't change the fact its TEN TIMES the size of Evanston in land mass

So not only can you not understand 2nd grade math, you can't even comprehend 2nd grade sentence structure.

Take the L. I know it hurts. Just walk away.

I feel I deserve reparations for having read this thread.

Let me get this straight...

Some small town in IL made black residents prove that that they were discriminated against in order to get property grants. And it was all funded by donations and weed tax. This is tan suit level panic material, folks. You better start boarding up the windows. Change is coming. And it's not the good kind.

Reminder for chuckles, it took a total of three weeks for my prediction that we would be seeing the idea of reparations to become more and more prevalent to an actual city implementing them. lmfao, this thread should be fun.

Why, when I can continually mock your terrible, politically reflexive take?

Look a this small town... I can practically smell the apple pie!!!

Like I said, I have no idea the size of that town.  But he didn't say anything about it being a black community.  He was just describing the process for reparations.

That's the problem when people make general comments about things they know nothing about, it opens it up to different interpretations.  I don't disagree with you, I'm just saying that given the motivation behind his post, I read it a different way.

Evanston is where Northwestern is right?  It’s a huge university.  Also, given that it’s a university town - it’s liberal.

Dripping with overcompensation and desperation to move the thread past the last page. Absolutely love it.
