October 9, 20205 yr He's flailing and it won't play well right now. I honestly think the absence of a foreign threat in the news cycle is really hurting his chances. If ISIS or other groups were still causing chaos and making headlines, he could go back to that well. But with a global pandemic on everyone's minds, capturing two ISIS dudes doesn't really move the needle. In fact, that's really the only way to turn this blowout back into somewhat of a ballgame, a large scale act of terrorism to open up a lane to paint democrats as being soft of terrorism. And even then, I'm not sure it'll help all that much. With everything that's gone on in the last couple weeks, it's just too little too late.
