I believe Obama was accused of similar tactics. Unfortunately this isn't unique to Trump, though there should be more outrage about it.

He ran the Whitehouse like a mob boss. How is all of this intimidation, bribery, abuse of power, and fraud not criminal?

This country was significantly dumber under Trump. Hopefully we can undo most of the damage.

Former President Donald Trump's team is more nervous than usual now that prosecutors have convened a grand jury in an investigation into Trump and organization executives, Politico reported Wednesday.

"There's definitely a cloud of nerves in the air," said an adviser to Politico. The shift in attitude compared to what Politico calls "the typical barrage of legal issues surrounding Trump," is reportedly attributed to fears that Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg, whose taxes are under investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James' office, will "flip."

I think he still has possible state charges pending?

Here's the thing: We're already set up nicely for the next nightmare scenario. Like Hitler, Trump is 10x as dangerous now that he is literally a wanted man. It feeds into the persecutorial complex/victim mentality that he has already been cultivating for some time, so he remains popular with the base and it reinforces the idea of unfair treatment with rank-and-file Republicans. Now, he literally can frame this as a war and struggle for life and liberty, and what's worse is that it's very easy for him to dip back into the 2016 greatest hits for 2024. So, he's under felony investigation. The wheels of justice move incredibly slow, so I can already see his case being tied up for another 4 years. So, in 2024, everyone on the left is yelling that he shouldn't be allowed to run."Why not? Whatabout Hillary?" he says. "Hillary was under investigation when she ran in 2016, and no one batted an eye. What's fair is fair.  I'm innocent, but what Hillary did was much worse anyway." He successfully muddies the waters and, in the midst of all of this, there's nothing we can do to stop it. The rallies grow louder, more provocative, and more violent. The left, in the midst of its own civil war, fails to coalesce around Biden a second time, while the Justice Department stumbles and can't put together a case fast enough. Trump wins another term, and now he's a second-term neofascist with more bones to pick than every before. That's when things really start to unravel and the purge begins.

Matt Gaetz can be his henchman: https://trib.al/0HItUg9

Buckle up. Fascists still gonna fascist.

  • Roger Stone predicted in an Infowars interview on Friday that Trump would soon be indicted.

  • Stone said he thought Trump would be charged with "bank fraud or tax fraud."

  • Stone accused Manhattan prosecutors investigating Trump of "combing for a crime."
