I wish you were right, but you are very wrong. While Trump's group of supporters is smaller, it is FANATICAL. Which means that he can weaponize them against any GOP congressman who dares to cross him. If you don't kiss the ring, Trump will turn his cult against you and get someone to beat you in a primary. The party remains wholly-owned by Donald Trump.

As for what Trump does in 2024 -- he will make it ALL ABOUT HIM. He won't run in the primary, but he will make them all kiss his arse. Then when the presumptive nominee (e.g., DeSantis) emerges and even attempts to distance himself a little, Trump will have a meltdown and enter the race. He will demand to be nominated at the convention, and it might work. Remember -- running in a primary takes effort. Donnie doesn't do effort.

As for the "Senile Joe" stupidity, wake me up and him up when he suggests we took airports during the Revolution, or tries to buy Greenland, or nukes a hurricane. It's pathetic projection.

How do you know you can’t nuke a hurricane? Have we ever tried it?

Trump's white power hand gesture is so telling.

He's right. If you voted for Trump and have no issues voting for him again you really have no room to talk about "Senile Joe".

This is what delusional Republicans tell themselves when they can't face the reality that they elected and actively supported one of the most objectively stupid individuals to ever grace the Earth, let alone serve in the White House.

And still smarter than the guy the Republicans picked. Think about that for a second.

Trump’s way of dealing with the pandemic was to pretend it didn’t exist. An eight-year-old would have done a better job.

But what if that 8 year old were Donald Trump? Or Donald Trump Jr.? Or Eric?

All I’m saying is Trump had one crisis to deal with during his presidency and his approach was to pretend that it was no big deal. Then he ended up in the hospital for the very thing that he acted like was not a big deal.  I mean…

An average 8-year-old then?

Or maybe a median one?

Had he not been president and able to gain access to experimental treatments he probably would not have survived.

Everybody who was paying attention knew Trump would be an absolute disaster in the face of a real crisis. It's unfortunate that it took a disaster to ensure he didn't get re-elected.

Not that the head-in-the-sand Trump supporters cared.

Even a First Year Law Student knows that the First Amendment does not apply to private companies. Trump signed an Agreement to use Social Media. He violated their terms of Service and was rightfully banned. Users of Social media do not enjoy First Amendment Protection.
