If only they had the discussion over Twitter. BunkerBoy would have been a lot tougher.

You know, it is the amazing humility that is so admirable.

Clearly the greatest, most fantastic humility ever. Many people are saying the most humble man in history.

"You didn't build that!"

538 has an article about this being a potential (yet unlikely) point where there is a snowball anti-Trump move by the Repubs.  I don't see it happening but yes this is the type of situation that has some potential.

If it does happen it will be sudden.

And MAGA can't figure out why everyone other than them thinks Trump is a racist.

A little late after they cancelled the gop primaries because 2 republicans had the nerve to run against him.

I'm not talking about taking away the nomination.  I'm talking about a sizable chunk of prominent Repubs moving away from direct support and instead clearly denoting that they support the Republican Party but not Trump.  Their aim will be to keep the Senate, wrestle the party back from a losing Trump, and then attempting to regroup.

It is a self-perpetuating downward cycle. If he keeps doing poorly in polls, then more Republicans will look to jump ship and/or distance themselves so they can claim they weren't a supporter if he loses big. The more who jump ship, the weaker he gets in the polls. Rinse/repeat.

That's the theory -- however, Trump has been an anomaly in all ways since entering politics. That base of ~35% will never leave him and will harden as the "establishment" abandons him is my guess. He loses, but does a little better than he should given the cult nature of his support.

Never go full OANN.

That's nuts , just checked and yes its real.  The past couple days he has been unusually quiet, clearly licking his wounds as the devastating poll #'s from last week's stunt come in.  But we all know the Donald by now, he has been spending every waking moment during this dual crises cooking up a new scheme to dominate the headlines and retake the narrative.  Full conversion to OANN is a fitting final chapter for this mentally sick and morally corrupt presidency.

What does "fell harder than pushed" even mean? Is he suggesting that a 75 year old man pulled a LeBron James?

Come on? What is more likely? That it’s a deep state plot or that a 75 y/o man was off balance and fell when pushed. I mean it’s pretty clear to everyone that his plan all along was to slam his head on the pavement on purpose and nearly die. Don’t be fooled so easily next time.

Oh look POTUS advocating for violence against unarmed old men. This should work out well for him.

Obviously he fractured his own skull. Total exoneration for the cops!

75 yr old Antifa militant boogeymen.  And yet we ALL KNOW by now, this is absolutely going to get traction over the next couple days.

That unarmed 75-year-old white man is a radical left-wing terrorist.  Lock him up!!!
