It's the moderates and 'old school' conservatives that rolled the dice on him in 2016 that either stayed away in 2020 or threw in with Biden. I don't see how him being indicted changes their mind on the things that made them walk away from Trump. No doubt his base will be more riled up, but they still get one vote. (Even though many of them tried to vote for Trump multiple times....) i just see how creative he was in riling up people in 2020, that he'd be able to twist up some propaganda and swing people that are tired of biden, cause theres a lot of them

If anything, they're dying and the kids turning 18 will very likely be voting against him. once the medical health industry can no longer keep boomers alive past their expiration the right is really going to have to figure things out. the younger generations aren't breaking right the same way as previous generations. you have a strain of libertarianism but it's a version that's largely compatible with the traditional "government shouldn't be in our business" not this MAGA flavored "thin blue line and Gadsden flag are totally compatible" faux libertarianism.

I'll never ever vote for Trump and I will always vote anti-Trump, at least until someone comes around on the left who is even worse (can't see that happening anytime soon).

I'm asking why it matters. Because it doesn't add any value, save for entertainment if that's what you are looking for. It is a waste of money, time, energy, etc. It adds another potentially violent event to the calendar and whips up the idiots into a frenzy some of whom might go out and hurt somebody. Plus it just looks completely stupid and drags the country into a sleazy level of crapola that would be better to avoid. Most important, it won't amount to anything of any significance. If you want to spend another chunk of media time on Stormy and Trump's mushroom deek than I suppose you are for it. If not, let's put the time in on the stuff that matters like the case in Georgia.

And now he'll lose any general election race he runs in because no one wants to see him govern again. The story of Trump in politics is as simple as that. Him being indicted for fraud/election fraud/espionage/whatever doesn't change the fundamental problem with Trump the candidate. Also, because HRC was a Candidate. She turned off a lot of Dem voters, who ended up voting for Trump, but didn't make the same mistake twice. Trump's base is shrinking not expanding.
March 22, 20232 yr The idiots who've been crowing about prosecuting Trump have only given him massive amounts of free campaign publicity and will largely be responsible for his getting elected in 2024. Had they been more concerned with actually jailing him instead of generating their own self-serving publicity, they would have quietly gone about the business of gathering evidence and solidifying their case. They blew a sure thing.

I prefer the NY prosecutors do their job and the Georgia prosecutors do theirs. If they feel a crime was committed and they have the evidence to prove it, they should do their jobs and act on it.
