April 2, 20232 yr now he's trying to compare the systemic and premeditated cheating that lasted for years with NE to a couple isolated infractions during a game as if they're in any way remotely comparable.
April 2, 20232 yr Lane is the only of those three that could be pointed to as premeditated yet that issue was essentially debunked or at least made uncertain by a few of the film guys (like Baldy).

So when refs miss calls, a team is cheating? Is that basically what you are saying here?
April 2, 20232 yr 25 minutes ago, Boogyman said: So when refs miss calls, a team is cheating? Is that basically what you are saying here? Not at all. The Patriots fans didn't cheat, yet they are "horrible people" because they are happy their team won. Your straw man doesn't work. How often when we watch a football game are we "glad they didn't call that?" Does that make us bad people? Most of you are so caught up in being politically superior that you can't see that everybody is flawed ... that no politician is perfect ... that no voter is perfect ... that when it's more important for the opposition to get caught than our "side" or even ourselves, we become hypocrites. We all want justice for others and mercy for ourselves. Think about it.

All that happened in your Philly examples, at best, was missed calls by the refs. You are attempting to equate missed calls with willfully cheating. Your analogy sucks, doesn't work, and you should feel really bad about it IMO.

Patriots fans that don't care that their team cheated as long as they win, are bad people. I know it's so important to stick together and be right, you are letting a key point go over your heads. Kelce knows the rules of football and that you can't "assist (pull) a ball carrier" and that wasn't the only time he did it in the last 2 seasons. Was he called for it? No. Not once. Did you all write angry letters to the NFL each time? If not, are you bad people? Smith knew he didn't complete the catch and with the help of the home stadium not showing a conclusive replay hurried his team to the line to prevent a challenge. Are we bad people for celebrating the play and the eventual win? The fans had absolutely nothing to do with any alleged cheating on the field. But because the outcome was what they wanted, they are bad people for being happy. Keep on defending this per the group effort in here. It's neat.

My rebuttal is unchanged, your analogy is beyond terrible and not in any way comparable to the cheating that the pats did for years. Go back to the drawing board and try again, because this one was dead on arrival.

Go back to the drawing board and try again, because this one was dead on arrival. Once again, Gannon's analogy claimed the fans were bad because the patriots cheated. You guys continue down the rabbit hole hoping numbers can mask the lack of a true rebuttal. I couldn't give a flying flip about your opinion of my argument. In fact, your answers only reaffirm that I don't need to put much stock in your opinion. If one team's fans are bad because one team cheated and got away with it, then another team's fans would also be bad if their team cheated and got away with it. I contend that it doesn't make the fans bad, but your side is arguing that only fans that don't include you are indeed bad. This is so much like the political "playing field." Thanks for proving "THE" point.

If multiple people are telling your posts are bad, maybe, just maybe, they're actually bad and not some conspiracy to gang up on you in numbers.

The same group of people that don't really like me and always defend each other. Thanks. Your post was helpful. It really means a lot that you are guiding me along on the path to being a good person.
