Trump is currently the favorite to win, despite everything. between J6 and his complete disregard for national security, he would have been rendered a political liability in any sane era. but Republican voters want him. and that's just sad.

Biden has largely succeeded in keeping the far left wingnuts in check. Trump is still the most objectionable choice so the Republicans keep trotting him out there because they for some reason see the far right wingnuts as their base. The farther America swings in polar opposite directions, the more fringe lunatics they keep sweeping into the middle, and mainstream conversation. There is a sad shortage of quality candidates on both sides. The occupation of politician seems to attract the corrupt who want to work the lobby system to make a bunch of money, rather than people who want to make a difference.

If he was convicted he should be in jail unless there was a plea (still should be in jail) but I don't remember seeing that anywhere. You might think it's normal but I think sniffing little girls' hair and trying to cop a feel in public probably leads to worse behavior in private. Maybe you just think he's a harmless perverted old dude and that's your right. If I'm going by what I think then they both make the list which is why I specifically kept it to convictions.
