December 13, 20232 yr Has anyone in here actually donated money to a political candidate? I can honestly say I've never bought merchandise from or donated a single penny to any of these crooks, from ANY party. I'm 100% certain that Moss and Van have, for starters

If I donated any money, it was no more than a token amount like $20... The amount of volunteer time is worth more than any money I donated.

I think my biggest donation ever was like $50.

Never attended a rally either. Never put up a sign or flag on my property, Never wore a political hat or a pin. I don't listen to televised speeches or debates, I just read up on the talking points later, and go and cast my vote. Basically, unless I get a laugh or something out of it, I couldn't be bothered with any of it.

The next time he ran, I couldn’t even vote for him thanks to his VP choice. I’m still bummed that he gave the extremists their first real foothold on the national stage.

And I have to pay for spring semester for my older kiddo tomorrow.
December 14, 20232 yr Honestly. It’s kind of a weird flex to spend lots of your time in CVON and then not donate to politicians

Dems have the lead in fund rising though they always complain it's the other way around. I believe the Trump campaign is short on cash on hand, because it's all being used to pay for Trump defense lawyers and experts. Here's a look at 2020. Biden’s 2020 campaign raised $656.8 million in contributions from donations of $200 and under, according to Open Secrets, a nonprofit organization that tracks money in politics. Small individual contributions also played a significant role in former President Trump’s campaign that year, with about $378.1 million — or almost half — of his 2020 campaign donations coming from small-dollar donations.

The fact that you give money to people who don't give an ish about you makes it easier for me to make fun of you, so thanks.
