Anyway, you might be right about how the general public could have remembered him. But it didn't take much digging beneath the surface to realize that the billionaire thing didn't quite add up.  

I live in Jersey as well and I really do not get the people around here that support him on the premise that he is a great businessman.

This is a guy that Fed over NJ time and time again. Somehow people forgot how Chris Christie just forgave him of $25 million in back taxes for his failing casinos.

He is a modern day snake oil salesman.

Sounds about right. It’s what he’s done to just about everything else he’s failed at...bailed.

LBJ announced he wasn't running again in the spring of 1968 because he was polling so badly after the North Vietnamese launched the Tet Offensive.  It's almost July already though.

Some people thought Bobby Kennedy would take over as the frontrunner that summer, but he was shot and killed by Sirhan Sirhan the night he won the California primary.

Yea, I think it’s pretty much too late for him to bail at this point. Just has to accept the pummeling. It would be fun to hear the excuses though. Voter fraud, rigged elections, presidential harassment...It would be an entertaining few months for sure.

Aaaaaaaaaaand Haspel confirms it, completely contradicting Trump's flailing that "Intel" told him it wasn't true and that he never received a report. In doing so she proves once and for all that we have a POTUS that is actively working against his own troops and citizens. All he cares about is covering for Putin... the United States be damned.

Never thought it was possible but it would really make me even more happy to see this joke of a president break under 40% on election night. That probably still isn’t happening because the cult will stick with their messiah till the end but I really want to see him just be totally humiliated.

I mean once all the details of this story finish coming out it will just destroy another of his claims about being a great president for the military. I guess at least he made the ships prettier so that’s something.

What can he possibly run on at this point? I really hope he doesn’t bail. There is no recovering for the GOP this cycle regardless, but it would make election night so boring if trump drops out.
