I'd imagine they just want some additional time to evaluate the new ruling to be 100% sure even though it is quite obvious.

It's stupid but apparently some of the evidence (checks signed in the Whitehouse) now could be inadmissable.  In no way was this an "official act" though but I'm sure someone will twist themselves into a pretzel to make it one
