Donald Trump always seemed to me like a guy that paid someone to go to college and do the work for him. Even more nuggets in here: Quote Ms. Trump, a clinical psychologist, asserts that her uncle has all nine clinical criteria for being a narcissist. And yet, she notes, even that label does not capture the full array of the president’s psychological troubles. "The fact is,” she writes, "Donald’s pathologies are so complex and his behaviors so often inexplicable that coming up with an accurate and comprehensive diagnosis would require a full battery of psychological and neurophysical tests that he’ll never sit for.” Like other critics of the president, Ms. Trump takes issue in the book with the notion that Mr. Trump is a strategic thinker who operates according to specific agendas or organizing principles. "He doesn’t,” she writes. "Donald’s ego has been and is a fragile and inadequate barrier between him and the real world, which, thanks to his father’s money and power, he never had to negotiate by himself.”
July 7, 20205 yr I mean, it doesn't take a psychologist to realize there is something seriously wrong with him.
July 7, 20205 yr It's obvious that having the office made him much worse. He's just about to cross over into the completely delusional. Wonder if they could medicate him he'd stop with the twitter at least? His Dr. I actually met once at a wedding.

I do worry if he were re-elected, taking it as a mandate and double down on his ego how worse he will get. He already thinks he's above the law.

Love it The concerning thing about the Lincoln Project group is they are the same people who have brainwashed people like Kz, lynched and mike31 for the past 20+ years. People so convinced to hate Democrats and give every republican complete exoneration for anything using psychological ads just like this. They fortunately see it’s gone too far with trump, but once he’s gone... they’ll be brainwashing the stooges once again. If their next candidate has any competence whatsoever they could really be dangerous. The trumpbots we have will cheer for the burning of the constitution so long as it’s their candidate.

As his niece stated he definitely has a clinical diagnosis of being psycho, but I do not see the traits of dementia. Having been around it and caretaking, I just don't like the term being used here. It's a horrid disease. Uncle Joe is another story. I worry about him. Hopeful he picks a good running mate just in case he continues to decline.

Trump slurs his words, and often has the complete inability to say certain words like "anonymous". For whatever reason it doesn't get talked about nearly as much as it should.

July 8, 20205 yr I'm no doctor of course, but I just see a clear difference between baffoon and Uncle Joe. To me, dementia is cognitive decline, losing your executive function, and finding the words, not merely mispronouncing them. Most of the problem with this disease is loved ones not being able to recognize it, accepting it, and helping the person out. I currently have a few friends starting to come out of denial with one or both elderly parents and dealing with it. It truly is an awful experience.
