But when things get serious, like now when we are in the middle of a pandemic where 150,000+ Americans died, and he's using the situation to keep trolling... That ship has sailed. It is time for real leadership. Trump cannot pivot therefore he's incapable for the job.

Free themselves from Trump's gooberism and they get to behave like semi-leaders without running the risk of a Trump tweet that gets them primaried. Maybe you'd get some governors actually governing, saying, "Hey electorate, maybe not the best time to crowd to the beaches." rather than playing that game where you know damn well they're not sending their families to beaches or crowded schools, yet they're encouraging you to go there.

I just read Trump wants a fourth one, which they say is standard for a nominee who is currently behind in the polls. How do they pick the moderator? I've seen a few Fox News and Pro-Trump options thrown out. Didn't Wallace do one in 2016?

The commission makes recommendations, but the 2 campaigns need to sign off on the moderators/structure/topics. This is where things may break down, as Trump will no doubt ask for OAN to moderate the debates.
