As funny as that sounds, in a country where the populace has occasionally been forced to eat tree bark to survive, there probably aren't a lot of wide bodies there.  More realistically, if he really is dead, this is probably a cover story.  There was a continuing power struggle between Un and the old guard and he appears to have lost.  Looks like he should have fed a few more of them to the dogs.

There probably isn't a more opaque country in the world.  The America, the Russians, the Chinese, and everybody else doesn't really know what goes on in their decision making process.  It's practically impossible to get intelligence agents in there and keep them alive.

China is an ally though.  Apparently China has advisers there right now.  One article I read this morning suggested Kim (or one of his bodyguards) might have Corona and the Chinese are giving them advice on containing it.
