Stunning

And brave

They keep making Bad Boys movies, and they're terrible. Cringe, awkward, not funny.

Makes me think: are there any actual good action comedies anymore?

Fall Guy was pretty good and that came out last year

I did watch that, but I wasn't paying full attention. It was enjoyable though.

I saw Mickey 17 last night and it would probably fit into that category along with Sci-fi. Wasn't my favorite, but Robert Pattinson was unreal in it, and it had some very funny parts.

Was he better in that than he was in Twilight?

I watched it the other day, it was entertaining enough. I liked it even though it got a bit weird towards the end

I keep seeing brief ads for that on social media but wasn't sure what it was. I will check it out eventually, thanks.

😂 I actually said that to my buddy on the way out.  If anyone should have been typecasted permanently as a teeny boppin, drama filled sad loser, it should have been him. But dude has range. Again, this movie was not the best, but his acting was insanely good.

Also, wtf is up with this CJGJ trade?  That makes 6 defensive players lost.

I’m not sure I wanna converse with anyone that would choose to read the book Mickey 17.

LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring - Not sure if anyone else has watched this one, but I was walking through Walmart last week and saw a 4K Blu Ray Combo pack that included both the theatrical and Extended versions (plus digital copies of both) so, naturally, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to pay full price for a movie that I’ve owned for years. Actually I own the Blu Ray theatrical version and, it turns out that I’ve never actually watched the extended version. Anyway, watched the theatrical first, then the extended to see what they’ve added. For starters, it’s one of my favorite movies ever. So many little moments are just perfectly done, Gandolf bowing up on Bilbo, Gandolf’s face when Frodo agrees to take the ring, Gimli announcing that nobody tosses a dwarf, just memorable moments all throughout. The extended version does add some helpful context to a couple of scenes but, mostly, I understand why he left those parts out.

Sometimes those teen actors grow up & do well, like DiCaprio

Watching the original Road House again. I've seen it a few times but it's been years.

First time I've noticed the score has several scenes with the same exact score as Die Hard. Composer Michael Kamen did both. Also Lethal Weapon, Highlander.

The greatest horrible movie of all time.

I kid.  It really is one of the best movies ever.  I think I saw it on Christmas Day when it came out and the whole experience was so incredible it made me wanna take out my little hobbit.

@dawkins4prez wait, you're telling me the train...is a...metaphor??? No way!

Crazy - I just watched the extended version of all three on HBO.  They really expand on some of the details but yes overall it doesn’t add much to the story.

Have you ever seen "The Nice Guys?” Not the greatest work of art, but very entertaining. 80’s-type throwback.

So, about LOTR. years ago my brother rented the first one from blockbuster and i watched the last 2 hours of it with him. just remember being dissapointed that i spent 2 hours watching a bunch of people walking and then it ends just before something cool actually happens. ive hated it ever since. but, ive been thinking about giving it a try again. i dismissed GOT at first too because i thought fantasy stuff was lame, then it became one of my favorite shows.

my only hold ups are it being 3 hours long, and the fact that ive hated on it so much, im kind of afraid ill like it
