Quote To not make significant gains in a midterm election when we are seeing record inflation and the sitting President has a piss poor approval rating is beyond pathetic Turns out demonizing everyone and everything from educators to scientists to doctors to young people to blm demonstrators to poll workers to gay people to trans people to entertainers to Disney to Starbucks to the NBA to centrist republicans to never Trump republicans to "big pharma ” to social media to immigrants to big cities to California to librarians etc will eventually cost you big elections . Even big elections when there is no better time to be the minority party . Elections that are handed to you on a silver platter So if you want to do better on the national stage in the future, maybe drop the whole school yard bully, hyper nationalist , edgelord BS . Believe it or not , most people don’t think it’s cool or charming to act as **** and cruel as humanly possible . Most people don’t have a sadistic punishment kink and they certainly don’t think it’s the best way to solve every issue facing the county Your entire brand since 2016 has been hostility towards humanity itself. Maybe rethink that juvenile and barbaric worldview and get your crap together

A divided government keeps things centered. Yeah, it wasn't the bad candidates or the lack of any policy answers for the problems the nation is facing. Nor was it the backwards looking obsession over losing the 2020 election. It wasn't that. It was .. the media.

I have no faith in party leadership however, to cut ties with him. 1 minute ago, Alpha_TATEr said: i dont think mccormick would have beaten fetterman, but at least he wasn't a trump ballgag planted POS fraud. I voted for McCormick, and I think he was an infinitely better choice than the literal Snake Oil Salesman that Trump the figurative Snake Oil Salesman endorsed. This dumb has-been celebrity plan that the GOP seems to be on has to stop. Or we're going to see Scott Baio 2024 signs on neighbors' lawns.
November 9, 20223 yr Trump is over, you cultists are just gonna have to deal with it. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/3727897-betting-markets-now-give-desantis-the-edge-to-win-white-house-in-2024/ DeSantis’s odds in the 2024 presidential race jumped to 28 percent on Wednesday, while Trump’s dropped to 18.4 percent, according to Election Betting Odds, a tracking website run by conservative pundit John Stossel and his executive producer Maxim Lott that looked at the odds offered by multiple other forums. Two of the sites that Election Betting Odds pulls from — Betfair and Smarkets — showed DeSantis holding a substantial lead over Trump, with the Florida governor coming in at 27 percent to 27.8 percent and the former president at 18.2 to 18.5 percent.

Maybe rethink that juvenile and barbaric worldview and get your crap together I just don't see how they do that. Even if Trump choked on a ham sandwich, their real problem is right wing media. It really didn't start in 2016, it's just that 2016 was the first time a Prez candidate on the right fully and effectively embraced how right wing media had been talking to the Republican base for 25 years. And they do it for the ratings. Literally the entire messaging/policy wing of the Republican party is based on Tucker/Hannity/Ingram getting higher ratings. Unless they turned off Fox/talk radio, there's no way to soften the tone.

He won in no small part due to making inroads in rural and blue-collar areas. He did an excellent job of cobbling together various liberal policies and communicating them in ways that were authentic and effectively insulated him from being associated with extremism. Fetterman is the kind of candidates Dems should model themselves after to recapture white, non college-educated votes in purple states. Saying he was a "bad candidate" is a delusional case of sour grapes.
