No, the void year is a team friendly device to pro rate bonus for cap purposes in the year the extension was signed, if a player enters a void year in 2022 they become UFA's as soon as free agency starts and all the void years prorated bonus immediately accelerate into 2022 as dead cap, so we'd have up to the day before free agency to agree an extension and the original void years would still count against the cap for those years. Brandon Graham's contract is probably the worst the Eagles have in void year terms, he enters void years in 2024 when he'll cost us $10million to let him retire, and he's already too old to restructure.
