February 14, 20224 yr Outlook not so good in the American West: They are experiencing the worst megadrought in 1200 years, since 2002. Officials should plan for the region to have less water resources.
June 16, 20223 yr Montana is in the midst of historic flooding. In related news, the governor, whose whereabouts were unknown since this started, was finally located. He is to arrive home tonight.

June 16, 20223 yr Damn climate change drying up the Colorado river!!! It’s definitely not too many people moving to the middle of the fing desert using up all the water.

JUST AN FYI, weather events are not Climate change.

LINK Quote The park could remain closed as long as a week, and northern entrances may not reopen this summer, Superintendent Cam Sholly said. "I’ve heard this is a 1,000-year event, whatever that means these days. They seem to be happening more and more frequently,” he said. But let's just call it a weather event. A little rain, that is all. Quote While the flooding hasn’t been directly attributed to climate change, Rick Thoman, a climate specialist at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, said a warming environment makes extreme weather events more likely than they would have been "without the warming that human activity has caused.” "Will Yellowstone have a repeat of this in five or even 50 years? Maybe not, but somewhere will have something equivalent or even more extreme,” he said.

July 23, 20223 yr There are around 20 Million regular residents and another 40 million visitors each year to that arid region. I suspect overuse of water in such an environment plays a big role. California's irrigation district has historically been an overuse problem. Arid areas are prone to drought conditions that sometimes last for decades. Water shortage is the risk one takes when they choose to live in these places. Want plenty of fresh water? Don't live in a desert.
July 29, 20223 yr Kentucky is under water! They managed to have two 1,000-year flood events within days of each other. Death toll is 15 and rising. Did you hear Biden refused disaster relief because Kentucky is a red state that didn't vote for him? Me neither.

July 29, 20223 yr How do they determine it’s a 1000 year flood? Where does the data come from to say this only happens every 1000 years?

July 30, 20223 yr Water and food are finite resources. We are running out of Clean air, quality soil, rain forests, wetlands and sand. With the Global population reaching 8 Billion by the U.N. We are in danger of running out of food and water. We have product supply shortages and sea level rise. But yeah we don't have enough people in America. We should have a billion people because we have enough resources. As if more people has a positive effect on dwindling resources.
