October 14, 20214 yr https://www.google.com/amp/s/news.yahoo.com/amphtml/protective-katie-couric-left-rbgs-190400974.html 'Protective' Katie Couric left out RBG's criticisms of kneeling for anthem in 2016 interview While the final cut included Ginsburg criticizing protesters such as Colin Kaepernick as "dumb and disrespectful,” it left out her comments calling the act of protest "contempt for a government that has made it possible for their parents and grandparents to live a decent life.” Ginsburg allegedly continued, "They probably could not have lived in the places they came from. ... As they became older, they realize that this was youthful folly. And that's why education is important.” The day after Couric interviewed Ginsburg, the Supreme Court's head of public affairs reportedly reached out to ask that some of the statements be excluded from the final product. Couric was conflicted about the request and asked journalist David Brooks of the New York Times as well as former head of ABC News David Westin for advice. Brooks argued that she should remove the statements because Ginsburg was "elderly and probably didn't fully understand the question.” Couric ultimately sided with her personal beliefs and edited some of Ginsburg's statements that she felt were "unworthy of a crusader for equality,” believing that the high court justice had a "blind spot” when it came to racial justice. Ginsburg died in 2020 and was one of the court’s most famous left-leaning justices. The American Civil Liberties Union came under fire last month for censoring a Ginsburg quote by taking out female-specific language.

October 22, 20214 yr Here's AP blatantly lying about the guy who got assaulted at the trans netflix rally: Keep in mind that this video is easy to find and has already been watched hundreds of thousands of time. They know they're lying. You know they're lying, and they know you know they're lying, and yet they do it anyway. Fascinating.

I don't know the policies exactly, but we've seen plenty of hospital footage of nurses dealing with COVID patients. One network showed ER footage that was actually from another country or something last year too.

Yeah, I have no idea what the protocol is or how we've seen so many photographs and live video from COVID wards already, but Deagle7 assured me that it was not unusual or inappropriate for the media to create a fake Covid patient using a mannequin, so I have to defer to him. He is a doctor, after all. Yeah, I do remember that story. I believe it was a video from Italy, which had one of the earliest outbreaks after China, and the MSM tried to pass it off as footage from New York. Good times.

ICU beds with COVID patients are (hopefully) going to be negative pressure isolation rooms so no outside people are going to be allowed in. It's why you hear stories of patient's families saying goodbye through an iPad instead of in the room. If family isn't allowed in the media sure as hell isn't. You also have to have consent to film patients and that's hard to get on an intubated patient, and not something most family's are going to give for their dying relatives with tubes in every orifice. Hallway shots of nurses and staff are one thing. Filming an unconscious patient in an isolation chamber is much different.

The photo in question did look as if they were showing an actual patient. why set something up with a mannequin? Just seems odd.

The story was about how ICUs work in a story out of Edmonton https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSL1N2R81R0 It's a story about featuring a respiratory therapist and I believe a nursing supervisor about how ICUs work and operate and what to expect if you enter an ICU. So their goal is to demonstrate the ICU experience, and they can't film actual patients, what else could they do?

November 11, 20214 yr Best thing I did was back in the 90's I stopped reading the paper, stopped watching Entertainment news, and then Major Media news.... You can not be programmed if you dont watch, The information is out there. Do your own research. Or be mad when what they trold you was True, turns out not to be. Russian Collusion, Kyle Rittenhouse Etc... Once you see the fake news, you cant unsee it
November 17, 20214 yr It's obviously a pathetic riff on Who's on first. Unfortunately, Arroyo isn't nearly as funny as he and Ingram think he is.

November 22, 20214 yr Senior Fox journalists warned the network about their willingness to let their opinion contributors continue to peddle false claims on the network. Two longtime commentators resigned after FoxNews aired Tucker Carlson's insane 3-part series: Quote "It's basically saying that the Biden regime is coming after half the country and this is the War on Terror 2.0," Goldberg tells NPR. "It traffics in all manner of innuendo and conspiracy theories that I think legitimately could lead to violence. That for me, and for Steve, was the last straw."
