yes to defense, yes to run game and yes to bring this guy back.

They should build the offense around Jalen Hurts.   That means add a big running back,  add a blocker like a fullback, but it could be Mailata.  Keep adding top sparq oliners,  the Eagles ol is good, but keep adding great athletes at the ol spots.  

And the top athletes on defense.  The Eagles should be able to turn those 3 top picks into an improved defense with 3 new great athletes.  And they could trade down too, perhaps.

That opening press conference will define his short era with the Eagles.  This is the dumbest team in the league.  Constant stupid penalties and in game mistakes and it is never punished or corrected.  No one is being held accountable for anything that they are doing.  We see the same obscure penalties in back to back weeks. We see Barnett just running wild just hunting for a penalty that he's saving up for a big moment, and then you have Miles being allowed to run out of bounds late twice last week and apparently that was never brought up in film and team meetings because then Hurts does the same thing. 

 

We still don't even attempt to run the ball. At all.  None of it is promising.  We'll Watkins is.  But beyond that the Eagles gotta move on from Sirianni for a more qualified HC.  Take another shot on a younger up and coming coach I'd they want but this ain't it.

I agree… especially with a guy who has just started playing football and developing very nicely… better hope switching sides doesn’t mess up the development
