So after our initial TD drive, we had six straight drives of only 3 plays - 5 were three and outs and one was an INT

Bucs R BETTER is the problem.  28-22.   The Eagles get a turnover from the Bucs there at the end and the Eagles go in and score a TD and win.  It didn't happen.  The Bucs R Better.   But that just could have happened.  It was that close.  Not really close but 1 TO + 1 TD drive, and that's an Eagles win over the Super Bowl Champs who are doing well this season.

Hurts is putting up solid results for a 2nd round QB early on in his rookie deal.    The pure rookies are generally not doing so well.
Hurts TD runs solve the problem the Eagles had in the 9ers game. 

Looking pretty good.  Maybe not so many 0 yard passes and then running backwards for a loss.  Figure out a way to throw the ball to the running back when he is at least a couple yards past the los, and train the WRs not to then run backwards, losing yards.  

Obviously,  if the Eagles just handed the ball to Mailata over and over,  the Eagles would move the chains,  but risky passes (one almost got intercepted)  for such a low reward (behind the los) seem to be favored.  if it was Mailata out there instead of the players they had,  maybe the results would have been better.  Mailata might be able to break   that tackle.   I'd say that with Mailata out there, the chance of a drop would be higher.  But half the time the Eagles did that play, an incompletion would have been better than a 3 or 5 yard loss.
