I really hope what we're seeing here is a new coaching staff during an initial rebuilding year that wants to keep the training wheels on. Is this season being treated as one very long preseason or is this all they got? This is what I would like to know because if this all they got we are in big trouble.

Sirianni is not Head Coach material. He's also not Offensive Coordinator material. He's a WR coach and that's where he belongs.

He sucks at that, too. Why? Not teaching the WR's to give themselves room on the sideline routes and teaching them illegal pick plays that costs the team TD's. 🤣

Bucs R BETTER is the problem.  28-22.

You are looking at the score and not the game. The Bucs could’ve scored 40 easily on us. They took their foot off the gas, the end.

Jonathan Gannon has actually done a good job since supposedly being chewed out by Sirianni.

I don’t think they took their foot off the gas. I think Brady’s thumb is REALLY bothering him. He didn’t complete many passes over 10 air yards after he apparently hurt it during the game.

Its Division III football for the NFL season I guess.

Last week Hurts 5.4 YPA, this week 4.4, against the # 32 pass defense without its top 3 corners.

I’m gonna steal your CTRL keys so you stop cutting/pasting.

Please elaborate.

That reply continues to be appropriate for the nonsense being posted

MEDIA MEMBER TO SIRIANNI (spoken with that liberal arts confidence): Why did you attempt the field goal there?

SIRIANNI: It was 4th and 10 (you idiot)

😂

Can we get Doug back? Just apologize and kick Sirianni in the back of the nuts on the way out. Guys a dork.

He's young.  He can adjust by stopping the bad stuff like completed passes for a loss, and adding excellent stuff.

It was already announced that this was not to be a year when the Eagles had a realistic chance at the playoffs.  Yet, they're doing ok.  Hurts is doing ok.   His ability to run for TDs is important, on a team that could not get a TD against the 9ers first and goal from the 1.  that 9ers game was a possible win that wasn't.   this was a close game that probably shouldn't have been.  The Eagles are getting better and fixing their problems.

What do you see in Sirianni that gives you any confidence?

What ??  The QB had a season low 4.4 YPA, and they didn’t eclipse 100 yards of offense until the 4th quarter.  Do you even watch the games ?

Eagles aren't good.  Not improving.  Hurts is actually getting worse, unfortunately.

Another note: return Mailata to LT, Driscoll to RT, Herbig at RG and put Dillard back on the bench where he belongs.

6 games into our season and the same play calls every week on every drive seems like. This is who they are and this is all they got. We're in trouble and I ain't even mad.

It's the Olines fault.

Not all of the time. There was actually plenty of times the pocket was good but Hurts bailed and rolled right anyway

I pretty sure he was being sarcastic. At least that's what I thought when reading his post.

We also don't want to turn into the Cleveland Browns of old in firing Sirianni after just one season.

It might be better to accept the growing pains for the long-term

I guarantee you the only reason we won against the Falcons was the unknown factor about Siri. They probably beat us handily if we play them now. The offence is as vanilla as it comes.

He is the same guy that thinks Mailata should be lined up at FB and TE

Agreed. I blame Sirianni and Steichen and Gannon far more than any player for this team’s performance.

I do too. In the sense that it is timed and will eventually end.

Well the 2nd half was better than the first

The Bucs are better.d l

What can I say?

The score was close though.

Was someone thinking that the Eagles were going to get to the playoffs this year, and they had a win over the Bucs as part of the path to the playoffs.   The Eagles are not expected to go to the playoffs, the Eagles were not expected to beat the Bucs.  Losing to the Bucs should have no effect on whether the Eagles make the playoffs.   It's unlikely, but plausible.   A win at home over the Cowboys would likely be a difficult but necessary win.  Lions, Jets, Washington x2, Giants x2.  Not way too optimistic, and with those wins, the Eagles have, at minimum, 8 wins.    The toughest game left is the Chargers, then the Saints.  The Raiders are going to collapse, also the Broncos.  Add Broncos and Raiders, without the Cowboys, that's 10 wins and 11 wins with the Cowboys.   They've lost to the Bucs, Cowboys who were at home, Chiefs,  those are 3 expected losses.  The 9ers game was a tossup.  they're now 2-1 against the NFC south.   if they lose to the Saints,  thats 2-2 against the nfc south.

there are just a lot of winnable games.  That win over the Panthers was pretty big, they were 3-1 at the time.  Mahomes, Brady, Prescott - lost to all 3.  Daniel Jones x2,  Heineke (sp) x2, Zach Wilson, Goff, Carr, Bridgewater (none better than the first 3, or really even close)  that's 8 wins there.  Jaimes Winston and Justin Herbert and Dak Prescott again - those are the toughest QBs on the schedule.  They lost to the 9ers because of terrible short yardage game.   They fixed it,  it is no longer terrible, and Hurts runs up the middle will tend to work.  So, except for the 9ers game, the Eagles have been losing to the top teams, and have beaten others who are not top teams, and maybe the Panthers are a top team.

Game management decisions have been well above average, people are wide open on every non-screen play, the WR’s are playing better, he went after the DC when he was underperforming, and takes responsibility (unlike Chip).

What are you seeing that gives you no confidence?
