To be fair the pass interference was atrocious all game. The ones that they did call resulted in almost 100 yards alone. That played a role in the bad numbers. Was it me or did that lady ref have it out for us?

She seemed to be the one that thought Quez was inbounds. The male ref motioned out of bounds.

The Bucs backed off their defense in the 4th quarter and that, as much as anything the Eagles did, helped the Eagles run game.

Their defense really isn't that good.

So it was a group effort to stink that bad. Did somebody call the taunting penalty too? She got a lot of airtime. Arians was chewing her out. Maybe it's just me not accustomed to seeing a lady ref out there.

Their secondary is a mess due to so many guys missing. The front 7 are good. I understand trying to exploit their weakness, but you need a QB to do that and the Eagles have a slow witted and inaccurate RB who throws some playing that position.

Refs always get chewed out. I can’t think of any egregious calls from her specifically. As for the taunting, I blame that more on the league. They decided they want it called and ticky tack crap has been called a lot this year. Officials are calling that as they’re told. Avery needs to know that and have better situational awareness.

Play calling doesn't help. A lot of blame to go around. If they do another WR screen I may lose it. Seth is right this is a H.S. level offense.

No it doesn't. Under these circumstances though, I think it's irrelevant because Hurts is not an NFL Quarterback.

Oh, you're one of the ones who is wrong about most things.   Keep Dillard at LT until he actually sucks.  They drafted him with a first round pick to play Left Tackle and it would be right if he was able to play LT capably.

Mailata  can play RT, unless he's needed elsewhere, in which case maybe Driscoll at RT.

The Eagles just lost by 6 to the super bowl champs
the week before they beat the 3-1 Panthers.
they've also lost to the Chiefs and Cowboys.

They have an easier schedule coming up with jets and lions and 2 with washington and 2 with the giants broncos and raiders are both quite winnable games.   that's 8 more wins  for a total of 10, even without beating a team that you'd call good.  saints is winnable.  cowboys in philly is winnable,   and maybe the Eagles have some special insight into the mighty Chargers.  There's no losses there.  I would guess that there will probably be losses,  but there's no "no way they win that one" games.  The Eagles just played that game,  and they played the Chiefs. Cowboys in Dallas.  Those 3 games there are probably the 3 toughest games of the year, and they lost them all but they're out of the way, and on to easier games.

LMAO

Correct.  She called it a catch and was the over ruled.

Certified homer 😂😂😂

The Offense is sooooooooo hard to watch. There is no flow to it. Plays should be set up and ran to set up other plays.

RPO RPO RPO. Fake the handoff, look at one read, if it's not there just run around the pocket.

Is the QB ever under Center? Seems like every play is shotgun formation. College Offense.

Sorry to hear that

agreed. coaching needs a complete overhaul, but then we need to give em some talent to work with. I really wish Siri and Co would be one and done, but you know that isnt gonna happen

Maybe Siri & company will get a bunch of consultants like Doug got in 2020.

When they were at the goal line and in a shot gun, ready to play high school ball RPO BS, I was SCREAMING- "Line up under center! Line up under center- wtf is Siri doing?? Line up under center....ahhhh screw it."

as much as I hate this coaching staff, if they had a decent, mind you decent, qb with all the passes being called, I think the eagles would only have one loss, and that being to dallas, wr's are getting open, its the coaches and the lack of a decent qb

They actually have 2 really good WRs (Reagor sucks, sorry but he does) that can get open against just about any CB in the league. Its one of the lone bright spots of this team. They could actually be a playoff team next year if they...

  • Fired the coach and hired a real NFL head coach
  • Signed a solid veteran QB
  • Used their draft capitol to rebuild the defense including getting a stud LB prospect in the first round

They will not do any of those things mind you, but still.

Tampa's front 7 are good, especially against the run.

He is struggling. A running game helps tremendously though. Opens up the windows a little more. We don't have an NFL Coach either. That's more concerning IMO.

7 hours ago, EagleJoe8 said:

He’s a part of it. You can’t suck for the better part of 2 1/2 quarters consistently, and then turn it on a bit when the opponent starts letting up and allow the game to look closer than it was and not think Hurts is a part of the problem.

I usually lay most of the blame on players but in this instance the coaching is terrible

It's insane: the Eagles haven't drafted a LB in the 1st round since 1979.
