"Looks like a casual shoe, fits like a slipper". Go ahead and sleep on Sketchers if you hate your own feet. Meanwhile, I will be gliding around town like Fred Flintstone approaching a bowling lane.

No they suck. The built in memory foam is horrible for you as well.

I had one pair of those and I developed plantar fasciitis.

Inferior genetic material in the foot region, obviously.

Wrong. My feet have blossomed since discovering this magical piece of footwear. You are probably wearing them wrong or something.

Outside of work, the only shoes I wear year round

I hate flip flops. I naturally walk and move really fast and I just can't move around in them. I prefer Teva sandals.

No. I don’t wear them because I’m not a poor moron. That memory foam will break down and cause issues such as planter fasciitis. Then you will need custom orthotics based on your arch type. You can get memory foam orthotics, they just better have a hard backing to protect your feet.

My feet are fine man. Zero foot issues here.. Maybe learn how to properly use shoes and your feet will also be as good as mine are? Or go preach about shoes to someone who actually has bad feet?

You’ll see

Boogyman wears slip-on Skechers and Tevas? I’m going to read his posts in a whole new way now.

No you will see. See me, skipping around happily in my Sketchers while you struggle to limp all over the place with those ishy, hobbled feet of yours.

I do have a pair of Nike training shoes for the gym. It's an older model, I bought 10 pairs a few years ago, I think I'm on my fourth.

That's definitely something I would recommend if somebody is able to. If you find a pair of sneakers or shoes that you really like buy a few pairs at least.

You can afford multiple pairs of the same shoe?

Ok Vikas.

Na man I buy quality shoes. Try being less poor.

Only one of us mentioned foot issues, and it wasn't me. Maybe you need to look into changing your foot wear, or maybe you just need to stop being so self conscious over what others may think of your shoes.

I think I've done that for the last 20 years. When a pair fits well and fits its role good I always buy at least 2 or 3 pairs.

I do that with Merrells, they stopped making the ones that fit me like butter.

Found a couple at a hiking store.

Yeah I went overboard on the gym shoes. I was having a lot of trouble finding a pair to fit my needs. When I finally did I bought a pair, wore them for a few weeks and then just said F it and ordered 10 more.
