Nice win. But it's inevitable we will go back to not running the ball again next week.

Like I said before it's all part of the plan.

It's nice to eat a cupcake every now and then.

That’s a little better.  .500 here we come.

Sack fumble or pick?

He literally just did another one that was almost a pick in OT.

Even if that’s incomplete it would be ruled intentional grounding and result in a Safety, just take the sack.

Not in OT

Wonder if Jeffrey is mad that they ran the ball so much today.

Wentz just threw another pick

Then actually threw a pick in overtime.

Ok. Key to success. Play Lions.

I imagine he looked like this all game.

Great Team Win.  Defense gave up some dink and dunk but brought the pressure.   Boston and Jordan really lifted some of the load off Jalen and he ran the offense efficiently.   I know we aren't going to run for 230 yards every game but I very please Nick didn't give up on the run game.    Also Gannon took a lot of heat for how the D has been playing.  They all responded and put up a big performance.   44-6.   That's a special number for us.  I see a turn around coming.

He had J. Taylor WIDE OPEN and promptly threw into double coverage for the INT.

Maybe someone finally told Jeff to just let these guys coach.

Watching them run Today,  the Chiefs and Raiders both have a worse Rush defense than the Lions, it really would have been nice if Siri could've given the run a shot in those games.

What perplexes me is we waited until our best RB got hurt before we decided to run.

I know everyone is going to be like: It‘s the Lions, it means nothing!

But that did feel good.

Well he's gone now so you won that battle. How's 2021 liking you so far?

With the draft capital we have... Not so bad.

Oh and I see Wentz is still doing Wentz things!

I think it means a lot actually. They we t out there and ran the ball taking pressure off the quarterback and the defense. They basically said we will run it till you stop it and they couldn’t stop it. It also seemed like they planned for Reagor to be a big part of the offense. When he went down they had to change plans and just stuck with the run to the backs.

It‘s weird how both DP and Siri don‘t really want to use Howard until he actually gets forced on the field..

and then he like always runs super hard getting the kind of yards only he gets.

So he can‘t really run routes and catch it, fine. Still we always look best with a back like him in the mix. He‘s cheap after all too.

He’s also an underrated blocker. Jordan Howard being a big part of the offense has led the Eagles to good road wins. Get him the ball more.

Imagine playing to your strengths.

"See Hurts is bad and that means Siri can't open the playbook".

SMH

"Sooo the QB is having accuracy issues, therefore I will literally call no running plays... at all... and throw it every play because.. my QB can't throw".

Imagine running it more, and making a defense have to guard against the run AND the pass. Funny, after a run, the clock keeps ticking and your TOP goes UP while your defense rests. When you throw an incomplete pass over and over, the clock stops over and over, which means your defense has to play more... then they get tired.

It took them this long to get football 101 right.

Good win on the road.  Lions have played hard nosed football all season so good to see the Eagles go toe to toe and out physical them.  They wouldn't have 5 losses if they had called games like that earlier in the season on both sides of the ball.  I hope they continue to do it.

I think that's what impressed me... The Lions have pushed some decent teams this year and they haven't really been a team to get slaughtered. But today they did.

I didn’t even get to see the whole game. They cut the game off where I’m at around the 9 minute mark of the 3rd. I did not expect the Eagles to be this dominant today. It isn’t just Sirianni’s flower speech, because all of that trowing before wasn’t the offense, and today we saw the defense blitzing and playing aggressive. The coaches changed their styles. Something most of us have been begging for weeks now. They better keep it up though.
