For the love of God ... BRING UP HOWARD and split bulk of carries between he and Gainwell (with a little Scott sprinkled in).  Seems like a no brainer strategy ...  but not with this damn coaching staff.

Stop being rational and posting quality football stuff!!

Now the Coaches have a real reason to never run the ball, since their #1 RB is not in the lineup. Ugh.

Howard is on the PS protection list for the Lions game.  May very well be called up.  There is no other better option on the roster right now.

It really is baffling.  IMO Howard should have been active for much of the season already.  If they had him to run between the tackles, perhaps they wouldn't drop into the shotgun from the one inch line.

Indeed.  They have it reversed … Howard should have been on the active roster and Scott on the practice squad.

If Sirianni was what he was advertised as,  Sanders, Gainwell, Howard and Scott should have had plenty of work to go around.

When he put Howard on the PS and only went with 3 RBs, I was like WTF?

Howard is cooked. Don’t know why anyone is banging the table for him. They’d be just as well off to grab a back off the street or some a guy from someone else’s PS.

I sort of forgot about Howard until recently.   A good article by Ruben Frank lays out the case for rolling with him for at least a while.  Yes, he was hurt a couple of years ago but he's supposedly healthy now and ready to go.

If they didn't want to give miles carries they sure as hell aren't going to give Howard any

You know what's coming with Howard though. He offers zero versatility

but that requires that you ACTUALLY run the ball...

Can't even trade him now.

Absolute joke. The lack of structure and direction within this organisation right now is frightening.

Every year Sanders gets limited touches and every year he gets injured.

He's a playmaker but would be wise for the Eagles to try to trade him for something this offseason.

OK, I know this is common, but I have a problem with it:

"The #Eagles are placing RB Miles Sanders (ankle) on Injured Reserve, source said. Out 3 games, but should be back soon upon eligibility."

What does it mean, "ankle??" He lost an ankle... broke an ankle... twisted an ankle... suffered a snake bite on his ankle???

How 'bout a little more info?

So in other words, we won't lose any production from him. He'll still get the same amount of carries...
