Is it too early to be putting Elliot in the same discussion as Akers?

Definitely

Hurts simply isn’t accurate

Probably, Akers had some serious onside kicking skill, and his smack talk on Dallas on draft day was hall of fame material

Halftime. 10-7 Birds.

Smith even said throw it out a little more.

I love Elliot, but he needs to a couple more years of consistency before I put them in the same category. I’m glad that Elliots extra points are looking a lot better. I don’t find myself holding my breath anymore.

Yes

Yeah I mean I'm not sure why Hurts didn't give it a bit of loft.

Jim Bob Cooter?

I knew it would be a bad pass as soon as he kept back peddling with the ball.

A better throw and we’re up 14-7. As usual, it’s always "A better throw…” with Hurts. Sigh.

Kept the Chargers o on the sidelines for 7 minutes. Plus the halftime. They’ll be good and cold hopefully.

After that start we have to be happy about the score for sure.

It is frustrating. I mean even the 27 yard throw to Smith I feel like if he leads Smith a little there's a chance for some YAC? But instead Smith has to stop to secure the pass.

Rules were different for onside kicks then. It's nearly impossible to get onside kicks now.

Hurts should never be in an empty set, NEVER EVER.

And yet all we heard all offseason was how much his accuracy improved 🙄

I knew it would be a bad pass as soon as I seen #1

Jalen Hurts is a very frustrating quarterback to watch, but I really don’t get the empty back sets.

I don’t either.

Why did Hurts slow up on the run. Just keep going. Could have gotten another yard at least.

He does it all the time, I'm thinking he's a wuss.

So we kept hearing Hurts can't possibly do well when all we do is pass and he has no support.

Two games now with a great running game and he's been dreadful.

Maybe he just sucks?

Haven't seen that yet.

If we’re going to run the ball the majority of the time, and I believe we should, why not put Minshew out there for more accurate passes?

Hurts hasn’t shown any kind of improvement in his passing game, what makes this organization believe he’s going to turn it on all of the sudden?

So...safe to say Siri has learned & adjusted to run more?

That's called.... hope... in my life.  🤣
