I think we can have success as a ground and pound offense with a bend don't break D.

All I want. Don't want hurts to be the world beater. Just control, manage downs and escape if possible. Run the rock.

But I feel like he could get a few more yards sometimes.

I see it everytime he runs and it's not like he's a tiny QB, he needs to realize he has 20-30 lbs on those DBs.

I think at this point I'd like to see them bring in Minshew. Chargers are going to stack the box and Hurts can't beat them with his arm.

See... Improvement.

LOL!  You are finally coming around.  Hurts is an awful passer.

He needs better throws. But he kept the drives alive running as usual..

That Goedert throw is probably a touchdown if he hits that throw. Should’ve been a touchdown to Smith too.

One of few things I miss about season tickets. The once a year watching the silent drill team at halftime.

That and frisbee dogs.

Guess he’d rather not risk injury.

Well Siri finally smartened up after the first two drives so that’s good. Unfortunately Hurts accuracy sucks or we’d be looking st 14-7 right now instead of 10.

Well to me hurts has throws he can make in his sleep but it’s when he starts to make throws he’s no business trying it’s where things go wrong.

I'm not seeing a lot of throws from him full stop to be honest. Now that's in part down to the heavy run game but when he does need to pass he's taking off. But he's going to have to throw more second half so let's see.

Likely.  Giving Hurts credit, that last pass was closer than usual.  It was only 5 yards off target.

It is frustrating. I mean even the 27 yard throw to Smith I feel like if he leads Smith a little there's a chance for some YAC? But instead Smith has to stop to secure the pass.

I said the same thing when that happened; it's undoubtedly frustrating.

If we get Wilson, this team can compete in the post-season, the talent is there and will only get better.

Oh without doubt. Look I want Hurts to succeed no doubt. He seems a great kid and I think a great leader. He's the kind of guy character wise you'd want to be your franchise QB... But he's got such deficiencies to his pass game.

I think they're taking what the can get. Managing, no mistake ball. Whatever is putting up points go with it. Team and coach trying to find their identity.

It's not like he's going to have a long career in he league, he just as well go for it.

Comparing him to Lamar Jackson might be fair. Jackson was awful his first few years with accuracy. But he’s gotten better. Maybe Hurts turns the page year 3 if he’s given another chance.

At his best he is a complimentary QB, but not a franchise guy. Just doesn't have the talent to be that.

Let us know how he reacts when you tell him.

He’ll make some stupid analogy about how the first part of the season was the manure to spread on their budding daffodil.

So we kept hearing Hurts can't possibly do well when all we do is pass and he has no support.

Two games now with a great running game and he's been dreadful.

Maybe he just sucks?

those games,  the one that the Eagles won and the one that the Eagles are currently winning?

Because Hurts is a great runner,  the Eagles run game works better,  the Eagles march down the field and score points.

Are you just unfamiliar with this?

I don't think the receiver was in a good spot to catch the ball.

He won't be getting that chance here.

True. Gotta show enough and audition for other teams in case the Eagles let him go.

Yawn.

I can play THAT game with every QB every week. Including Brady, Mahomes and Rodgers.

But sure, all in all I agree. I want to see him do better! That said, I bet Wentz would have the ability to make that throw, but wouldn‘t get there because he can‘t run it on third down..

Well I don’t mean in this game, I mean in general. He has types and length of throws he can make and do well. It’s when he tries to air it out is where he can fall down because more often than not his receivers are having to come back to the ball.

Lets see what adjustments the team has made.
