Ugly F’ing game. This officiating crew is terrible.

Last night should scare everyone else. That game set up to be a trap game, but Duke still won by 35. Already down Brown and Proctor, can’t hit ish, Flagg goes out, James with foul trouble, they could have rolled over but instead they extended the lead. Impressive win in an ugly game.

That dude definitely had Ngongba arm tangled and could have wrecked his shoulder

Yeah, Kelly Olynyk ripping Kevin Love's shoulder out came to mind. 

Sounds like maybe he'll be back for the ACC tourney?

 

I don’t know what Scheyer’s thinking but whatever changes he made didn’t work, and he needs to change them back. Way too much hero ball, way too little movement, and Kon is not our point guard. Also, bringing Flagg back was stupid. Just a really poorly coached half from a team that was on fire.

Better 2nd half, obviously, and it was probably good for them to get tested a little bit. Carolina playing full court D the entire 1st half did bother our guards some, and helped them get the lead early in the 2nd but, ultimately, cost them any chance at winning. They were gassed halfway through the 2nd half and didn’t have enough left for a comeback. Now we see if we can win 3 games in 3 days.

Agreed. They showed something by settling things down and clamping down on UNC in the second half. Always great to sweep them. 

It’s nice to take that regular season title. Here’s to a strong ACC tournament. 
 

Flagg getting ACC POY & ROY. Honestly, he probably could have gotten DPOY as well. 

Scheyer not getting ACC COY sort of seems like a snub. Yes we were expected to do well but that shouldn’t count against Jon. We had a pretty historic season in the ACC. Our numbers were insane. COY has more so become not the best coach but the coach that wasn’t expected to turn things around and did. 

Survive and advance. 
 

Let’s hope Flagg is good for the NCAAs. 
 

Good response by the team after being down and losing their best player. 

Good win, but costly win. It'll be tough to win the ACC tourney without Flagg or Brown but we've still got some guys that can score. Hopefully a week is enough time for Flagg to heal up enough.

Unfortunately I think Brown's season is over. Dislocated it again, had to go to the hospital. He'll be missed.

Ngongba has gotten so good 

I love seeing Foster get some real minutes. He’s playing his ass off while he’s in there too.

Those last 5 to 7 minutes was old school Duke with that defense. That was Fing insane defense.
