Game on.

Still not worried, they can't stop my son's high school team

And

I don’t think this score accurately represents this game. Those officials were on some BS in the 2nd half. Some insane no calls and then calling a lot on Duke which put them in foul trouble.

Either way, good win. Cooper is unreal. What a treat to watch.

The fouls in the 2nd half were some crap

Is he the next Larry Bird?

There probably aren’t enough of those existing to pay off the $100

Jokic is Bird

Cooper ceiling is still not defined. 5 months ago he was stupidly compared to Scottie Barnes or Andre Kirilenko.

I think he is the next version of a KG and Grant Hill.

Yeah, ok I can see Jokic getting the Bird comparison.  Since I moved back to Sweden I don't get to see much NBA at all.  I'm not buying an NBA package as 90% of the games are in the middle of the night for me so all I've seen over the last 20 years is some Sixers day games that happen to be on my normal sports stations.  That plus whatever I could see when I was visiting the US. I did watch him in the Olympics and he was awesome. Otherwise, I’ve only seen him a few other times

KG - Ok, I didn't realize Flagg's outside game was that good.  I haven't seen him play at all outside of some highlights.

Flagg is an 83% FT shooter so shows he can shoot and was 37% from 3.

Remember he should still be in high school

That was an extremely comical point in the broadcast.

Scheyer says Flagg's leaving, as he probably should be. I can't help but wonder though (and admittedly I'm completely ignorant on how it works) but, theoretically, couldn't Duke promise Flagg, Kon, Maluach, maybe Proctor, a bunch of NIL money to come back and run it back? With Boozer coming on they could be billed as some sort of super team? Just stream of consciousness thinking here.

Scheyer could do that but a few things to consider:

1) it would almost assuredly be nowhere close to what he’ll get for his first NBA contract especially since he will Be #1 overall.
2) It would delay his 2nd NBA contract by a year and consequently 3rd contract as well, which could cost him a lot of money. Not to also mention more opportunity to injure himself before securing a high draft slot.

Honestly, Cooper would be too good for college next year.

Will be a kid in the next few years that loves college and stays an Extra year because of the money

Kenny Smith begrudgingly picking Duke was funny. I don’t like that they all picked us.

I’d like to see us try to get Evans a few open 3’s.

Grant Nelson is Flagg’s kryptonite right now.

Bama is doing a good job making Duke’s offense start way far out. Duke is needing to work really hard going side to side to sort of get any freedom.

Lobs for days once they get to the paint and defense is just lock down

Really impressive defensive. Held Alabama to more than 40 points less than they scored against BYU. :worthy:

Incredible defensive performance.

Kon and Khaman are my 2 MVPs. Khaman got switched on at least a dozen times and was left on an island at the 3-point line and he was never a liability.

despite not the best offensive game by Cooper, I still think he really had a solid impact. His defense was still good.

Can't get better NBA film for Man Man on defense

This is a pretty good 15 minute mini documentary on Khaman that Duke just dropped.

He’s only been playing basketball for about 5 years. In that sense he’s similar to Pascal Siakam (started so late but just naturally had some skill).

Congrats Duke fans.  Finally, my prediction looks good.

@The_Omega - good to see this Duke  year happening for you, massive personal double with the Eagles first and now Duke

He has a chance to be a better version of Giannis.

It truly all depends where he is drafted and who is the coach.

He makes a ton of sense next to Wemby

It's funny if you read The Atlantic article on Scheyer and how Brad Stevens and him are friends. Brad told him you can't teach length and it absolutely showed up today.

Proctor has turned into a Derrick White type

Sion has some Jrue in his game. Streaky shooter who showed a bit this tourney he can hit off ball shots and uses his strength to get to the hoop.

Cooper gets Tatum comps with more a f u attitude

Kon definitely is NOT Jaylen Brown but I don't think I have seen anyone play off 2 feet better than he has

Man Man can ne a future Porzingus. We know he can shoot the basketball just need a team to allow it and offers good rim protection. Give him 2 years of strength training and he will be a different guy.

‘Bama picked their poison and did a great job defending against Flagg’s offense. What did it get them? Beat by 20.
