I feel for you, I live for College BB season only slightly less than the NFL.

Yep, for the last couple of years there hasn't even been a streaming service I can subscribe and pay for plus almost all the games are in the middle of the night. On the other hand, the NFL package is superior to anything you can subscribe to in the US. Of course the Thur/Sun/Mon night games are an issue from a time of day perspective.

Big Boozer’s got 31 with almost 16 minutes left to play. Just thoroughly dominating out there.

Really good win last night although it seemed like Scheyer forgot to sub again towards the end, but what an amazing turnaround in a matter of seconds. Down 2, hit a 3, steal the ball, suddenly up 1 with the game largely on ice.

Bad outing but they got the job done in the end

Yeah, Florida St. had their way offensively but thankfully Evans and Sarr lit it up in the 2nd half. Struggled to win against 2 teams they should easily beat early in the season but, ultimately, they did win. GT came right after an 11 day break and Florida St was on the road so not too worried yet. Louisville tomorrow will tell a lot.

There are always going to be a few games where they aren't playing at top level and just need to find a way to win. Typically away games against mid-level teams. Seems like they are fine for now.

Nice job coming back after a poor first half. Really nice day for Foster.

That’s the Caleb Foster that we need every night.

Sorry Zuker. You’ll get another shot.

My neighbor’s daughter runs track at UNC. I’ll have to find out if she was at the game.

That was brutal. I mean, anyone but Carolina. Actually a bit of a trend that started with last year’s final four. Scheyer’s gotta find a way to stop the bleeding in these games where we get a good lead but get complacent. Happened in their other loss too. Still love this team and staff but that’s the one thing he needs to figure out.

Potential National Championship game preview tonight. Going to answer a lot of questions for both teams.

Hell of a Fing win. That was fantastic. Toe to toe with an elite team.

Looks like you have a real shot again this year.

If we can keep playing D like that. Arizona, at full strength, is going to be tough too.

I've always liked Duke. Don't know why though.

I think the last time I paid attention to College hoops was when Villanova won a couple of Championships. Jay Wright was an outstanding HC, IMO.

How do you feel this team compares to last year?

Last year’s team is always going to be a "what if”. Such a wasted opportunity for an absolutely stacked and talented team.

I've never liked Duke and at times hated them but I surely always respected them (well maybe not the Laettner/Hurley). I've always been a Big 5 fan and a Nova fan specifically. In any case, at this point I'd be just fine with another Duke championship.

Honestly, I don't know. On paper last year's team would seem slightly superior, especially at guard, but I love our guards this year. Foster can break anyone down with his dribble, he just needs to more aggressive looking to score. Cayden looks like a freshman at times, but damn if he can't pass and run the offense. Evans is fantastic in rhythm, he's just not as great a shooter if he's open. Sarr seems like a wealth of untapped potential. Inside we're a little smaller than last year which might hurt us with some bigger teams, but hasn't yet.

The problem with last year's team was Scheyer's rotation in big games, namely that there was none and we were vulnerable when the starters got tired. Judging from the short bench against Michigan we could see the same problem. Darren Harris is capable of some quality minutes but gets lost on the bench in the big games. Scheyer needs to trust guys like him more. Like last year, I think we have all the tools to win it all. Now we just need to do it.

It's always a good thing when Notre Dame (or Penn State) loses. 😎

Playing like the #1 team in the country. Nice beat down.

Was at the Iowa state/Arizona game. Arizona is really good. Getting peat back was big but also Aristode makes them deeper. If Aristode plays like he has coming off mono (they said flu like symptoms but everyone out here knows what it was) it actually gives them another dimension cause he can shoot the 3 and is athletic wing defender. Was a 5 star kid. He was hurt his entire senior season in high school was coming on then got mono. so it has taken him time to adjust.

Analytics for Duke, Michigan, Arizona and now Florida are pretty nuts. Believe kenpom has all 4 over 35. Usually in a season there’s 1 or 2 that’s who usually wins it. They are the 4 best teams. I think full strength the two best are Duke and Arizona. I see Duke and Arizona having better backcourts than Michigan and Florida which is the difference

Yeah, Arizona/Duke would be a battle. Awaka could give Boozer trouble but Ngongba and Brown would help Duke offset that difficulty. That would be one hell of a game.

Really impressive 2nd half. Especially with Evans and Khamenia not being able to hit much. They looked kinda lost after Foster went out but they found themselves at halftime and spanked them after that. I hope Foster and Ngongba are ok for the tournaments. Foster’s kinda worried me. Didn’t look good.
