The greatest thing about this thread is how much he was illogically hated on the old boards because he represented the Andy Reid era.

For the all pro criteria, I don’t see why he won’t get another 1st team all pro this year. It’ll probably be a repeat of Linsley & Kelce. He’s just as dominant & consistent as he’s Been in the past.  But yeah, I think he makes it.

I thought it was going to be after this season, but I’m hoping if this team can keep playing well and sneak into the playoffs it gives him incentive to come back to go for one more run next year. 
 

Had they been a 4-5 win team again, I think he’d have definitely called it quits.  Now I’m not so sure.

I've been here since 2003. I remember people saying Kelce was to small to do smash mouth football and or pass block straight up against the bigger DT's in the league. Those were concerns in some of the offensive line schemes we had him in.

I remember calling for Chip to be fired a lot when he was the coach. 😂 I don’t exactly remember when it was, but I do remember people having some grumblings about Kelce and if he was done as a player. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was during the Chip era, because that dope used all his players poorly.

Kelce always had some seasons where he started off a little bit shaky always took a game or 2 to get into it. Like I said though people lose their crap over a few hiccups 

Wasn't Kelce one of the guys who confronted those fans across from the Nova care complex that were holding signs to fire Reid during the 2011 season? What a ride it's been.

So that wouldn't bode well for his chances. If there weren't any others within his timeframe, maybe. But others that have a stronger claim, may squeeze him out.

Yup, that's why he should consider playing a few more years. 2-3 more probowls make him a lock IMO.

I think he has to get another all-pro to get in

Yup, I remember most of the people here wanted him gone (just as he said in his latest speech). I'm proud that I was among the very few who thought otherwise. He's a true legend now.
