Wallace leaves his plum job at Fox after 18 years to join CNN+ Fake News streaming service.  Would love to have been a fly on the wall to see what precipitated that move.  I have seen a lot of negative comments from Fox viewers on social media through the years, but why now?

So he’s leaving a parody news network to join a real news network.  Sounds like a smart move.

His presence at Fox was no longer tenable, given his dedication to honest reporting. Plus, he seems to want to jump on the streaming freight train.

Chris Cuomo disagrees with you.  But hey, you can still get your real news from Stetler!

He wouldn’t eat the horse paste

He is probably one of the few left at Fox that didn't believe Trumps election lies. I bet he just couldn't take being associated with them anymore.

All kidding and politics aside, Fox is the highest rated cable network.  If you listened to Wallace's farewell, you wouldn't think that.  The most important thing for these media types is exposure.  From all appearances, something behind the scenes precipitated his abrupt departure.

Yeah I don't really care. You just keep send Trump that stop the steal money like the rest of your Qanon friends.

It's the highest rated because it exists to serve up red meat and confirmation bias to the right wing base.

CNN and MSNBC are stupidly trying to mirror Fox, at the expense of their credibility, but nobody cares about credibility if they're consistently being told they're "right".

None of them are news. They're entertainment.

I have never watched any network news on TV in my entire life.

:roll::roll::roll:  This explains alot.......

I have heard Hannity on the radio a few times to listen to him whine. I noticed he always has to add "you should be angry/scared/glad/etc," to almost every bit he talks about. The clips I have seen from Carlson, he does the same thing. It must suck for some of you idiots that you need someone else to tell you how you should feel about all the different thing going on in the world.

His contract was up and he decided to leave. Apparently he was adamantly opposed to Carlson’s piece about Jan 6 conspiracies.

😂

Is there any part of you that believes this statement?

He’s leaving a parody news network to join a parody news network. At this point, anyone who still doesn’t understand this is either stupid or willfully ignorant.

In primetime there is no news, it is all spin, during the day there is some news

That is being kind

Swap him and Cuomo and watch peoples views change.

Anyone who finds network news entertaining needs to get a hobby or seven.

If I were Wallace I wouldn't want Fox and their stable of lunatics trading on my good name as a legitimate political commentator. No self respecting human would tolerate it.

Your mom just left my house. I made her use the back window though.
