Week 15 Discussion

Week 15. The last 4 weeks of the season are my favorite. Every game matters from here on out. (if you are in the playoff race of course)

Thursday night started off with a bang as the Chiefs defeated the Chargers in OT

No more teams have bye weeks.

Covid has forced 3 postponements of games starting with the Browns Raiders, WFT and the Eagles, and the Seahawks and Rams.

The Raiders and Browns will play Monday at 5PM EST. while the WFT-Eagles game and Seahawks-Rams will both play Tuesday at 7PM EST.

The Patriots play the Colts Saturday night in Indy. A pair of teams that go back in some great matchups in the mid 2000s.

Cowboys play the Giants at MetLife. Dallas has won 8 of the last 9 meetings.

Texans-Jaguars. Boring. Funny, a pair of bad teams that face each other are sometimes the better ones.

In Pittsburgh the Titans face the Steelers, A big game for the Steelers to stay in playoff contention.

Jets and Dolphins play down in Miami. The Jets defense has allowed 30.5PPG this season (most in NFL)

Arizona is perfect on the road this year (7-0) and should continue that streak while they play the Lions in Detroit.

Only 3 late afternoon games as it starts with the Bengals and Broncos in Denver.

Atlanta goes out west to play the Niners. SF has lost 8 of their last 11 home games.

Out of the 3 late afternoon games this one is the best as the Packers play the Ravens in Baltimore.

On SNF, New Orleans plays Tampa in a matchup of NFC South teams.

Tampa Bay clinches NFC South division title with:

1. TB win or tie

Tampa Bay clinches playoff berth with:

1. MIN loss or tie + SF loss OR

2. MIN loss or tie + PHI-WAS tie OR

3. SF loss + PHI-WAS tie

On MNF the Raiders play the Browns as mentioned above at 5PM. Then the Vikings play the Bears in Chicago at 8:15PM

Because of all the postponements and games being moved around, we will have football tonight (Saturday 12/18), Sunday(12/19), Monday(12/20), Tuesday(12/21), Thursday(12/23), Saturday(12/25), Sunday(12/26), and Monday(12/27). Buckle up.

To quote Harry Doyle from major league, he’d have needed a rocket up his ass to get it.

The New York jets have scored a TD.

Announcer "Saquon Barkley is coming off a season high rushing last week against the Chargers"

Me checking out the box score from last week:
Barkley, 64 yards rushing. Lmao.

Frickin sucks, and is stupid, that the Eagles aren't playing to right now.

So the game was postponed due to covid? What difference is two games gonna make 🤦

Elijah RIley was carted off for the Jets. I did not see the play but he pumped his fist as he was carted off so hopefully he is okay.
