Helen Keller could call a better defense than Gannon. I just hope to god someone gives him a HC gig

Don't think there is any chance he leaves. But Fangio would be perfect in that he would likely be here as long as we wanted because I doubt he gets another HC job at some point unlike the others mentioned so far in this thread.

Isn't Gannon a disciple of Zimmer?

Top DC's aren't going to want to come here with Howie's philosophy of dime store LBs and safeties.  I'm surprised that Schwartz stuck it out as long as he did.  We will either keep Gannon or look for another young DC who just wants his shot.

Fangio, but Gannon isn’t going anywhere

Watch your tongue! 😂 Honestly I think you’re right. Even still this team needs an influx of defensive talent.

Top DCs wouldn't wanna come to a place where another top DC prospect became a HC after one decent year? Are you high?

The student has not exceeded the teacher.

Wouldn't be surprised if they promoted Dennard Wilson, the DB coach. Young, similar background to Gannon's.

I think Zimmer ends up in Dallas if Quinn gets a HC job. Fangio would be a compelling hire, but I'm not sure that fit makes sense.

You think Gannon turns down a head coaching job.

I think Gannon doesn’t get a HC job and isn’t fired either. So he is back next year.

Fangio is the obvious one. I guess Flores may move back to DC? But he shouldn't as he's a good HC.

Texans HC is likely going to go to a Pats connection with the GM. I read it’s between Flores and Mayo
