Anyone have a Weber Spirit SP-335 Gas Grill or similar model? Looking to upgrade to this and looking for feedback.

I have a Genesis gas grill.  I really like it a lot.  It is around a 2011 or 2012 model and I bought it used around '14 or '15 for $400.  It works great and is still in great condition despite being stored outside (typically covered but not always) year round.  From everything I've read and heard from friends it is worth the extra $$$ to step up to a Genesis rather than buying a Spirit even it means getting used.  Genesis are made in USA (or at least they were until recently) whereas Spirit are made in China and are generally lower quality.

I have an inch and a half thick ribeye that I'm reverse searing on the smoker tomorrow while drinking bourbon and smoking a good cigar. Is that manly enough for this thread?

We're having lettuce wraps!!!

We have Genesis natural gass grill.  Love it!  For about 4 years at the tail end of my bachelor life its how I fed myself 85% of the time.

Like Imp said.... spend the extra $$$ and get the Genesis.  Much higher quality.  The only reason you shouldn't get a Genesis over a Spirit is if you need something smaller, IMO.

I just killed a 21 year old.

Is that manly enough for you?

You have to kill it first.

What's your guys' skin care routine?

Moisturize every morning with something that contains a minimum sun block of SPF 15.  Nothing too crazy

I care for my skin by wearing a long sleeves shirt and gloves, long pants, if I have to deal with thorns or something.

Is that what you mean?

Plus a little beard oil that's pretty much mine as well.  Feel like I should step it up though.

being in texas and being irish/scottish....crisco in the morning keeps paleness just under crispy.

So I just put power to may shed a couple months ago and had this same kind of idea. Ended up putting a male Edison plug in a weather tight now on the outside of my shed so I could plug in an extension cord from my patio. Figured I wouldn't use it too much so it wasn't worth trenching from my electric box.

I'm in there almost every day now doing something. I'd say, if you've got the time now with the 'rona shut down, dig the trench. I'm leaving the cord plugged in a lot more than I was expecting to and I shoulda just did it the right way.

I just did this myself figuring the same thing. ill get it hooked up the right way soon enough as I just put a pond in a im putting a pool in next week so I will need outlets by them.
