Thanks! I don't want to dry it out too much so I was thinking of wrapping it in foil first.

You really want to season it, you can try what I call a season bomb, wrap the steak and a can of Pam cooking spray together in foil and set it on high in the microwave for 30 minutes. Perfect sear every time!

Today I got vaccinated for Tetanus and whooping cough plus had a test done for TB.  Despite my crippling fear of needles, I didn't pass out.  So surely I get points for that!!!

Maybe if this were the "millennial man thread".

The last time it was manly to mention an injury was Adrian Carton de Wiart.

Quote

Carton de Wiart served in the Boer War, World War One and World War Two. In the process he was shot in the face, losing his left eye, and was also shot through the skull, hip, leg, ankle and ear.

In WW1 he was severely wounded on eight occasions and mentioned in despatches six times.

Having previously lost an eye and a hand in battle, Carton de Wiart, as commanding officer, was seen by his men pulling the pins of grenades out with his teeth and hurling them with his one good arm during the Battle of the Somme, winning the Victoria Cross.

"Deucedly inconvenient," he said about his lost arm.

currently sitting in the parking lot at my dentists office. i went in last Tuesday to have a crown replaced only to find out that the remaining tooth underneath had broken off. 😥

I'm in a similar position.  I was planning on dealing with it and waiting until next year to get it fixed.  COVID is giving me a damn good excuse to do that.

Samsung has just come out with an outdoor TV. IP55 and 2000 nits so sunlight can't drown out the picture.  I haven't looked at it.  I assume it's expensive.

all finished now. it was a piece of cake. they even built the new crown out of some softer material right there at the facility.

Fancy. I have an extra tv that I drag outside and set on a TV tray to watch NASCAR races with my buddy's.
