I could get into this - got today's in under 4 seconds.  My first guess didn't even appear as an option when I searched the band name

Do you know what the genre settings are on this thing?  Like will it also mix in 50's music and Norwegian death metal?

Each Heardle is semi-randomly plucked from a long list of popularly streamed artists

Sounds like it will be mostly popular music from today-ish

4 seconds.  Wife would be impressed with my stamina.

The caveat is that certain songs in certain countries may be copyright protected and SoundCloud won’t allow them but assuming their algorithm flushes all that out.  This should be a lot of fun.

Anything that SoundCloud allows is fair game.

My God, they're multiplying.

Never heard(le) todays song before.  I failed!

I'm going to suck at this game unless they use some old school songs.

Yesterday I guessed Tool so wasn't too far off.  Just never listened to much Linkin Park.

Failed.  Never heard this song before.

Took me a while - I knew it but had to keep listening to get the melody then the chorus led me to the song name

You’re so hip.

I do listen to a bunch of music.  Of all the useless skills have I have, remembering song lyrics is #1.  My Mom loved Elvis, and I could probably write down the lyrics to 100 Elvis songs right off the top of my head.
