March 24, 20223 yr What a bunch of cry baby drama queens. It's week two of free agency so his price probably came down significantly. Barnett is ok and still only 25 and with Ojabo's injury it puts them in a position where they don't have to force a DE if nobody is there at 15. If they paid him 10 million a year I will be right there complaining, but if they got him him on a bargain it's a decent move.

March 24, 20223 yr This is probably for no more than $3-4M per yr. See him better than Ryan Kerrigan as a rotational, so it's a massive upgrade. Good insurance for BG off the injury & if the draft runs dry at DE.

Just draft BPA. Outside of the top 2 DEs I dont see any of the other being worth of top 20 maybe sides the Purdue player

I think they have made this move on the basis that they don't think they can get a DE in the first round without it being a reach.

I want to see what he signed for before I start frothing at the mouth (like I did when we picked up his 5th year option). The starters are penciled in as Sweat and Brandon (who is coming back from a major injury). If he is cheap and a rotational player I'm fine.
March 24, 20223 yr Great. We have to deal with this nitwit for another 2 years. My statistical prediction for him looking foward: 2 sacks, 5.5 tackles and 46 personal fouls.

He hurts the team in most games. He doesn't add a lot of value to the team and does very little good. He could be free and I still wouldn't want him in the rotation.

Pig vomit's script this off season seems to be going against the grain of what other teams are doing - trading stars for bounties of draft picks and then getting signed to crazy contracts. Eagles are rebuilding in 2022 and 2023. This move is consistent with that. @paco, @downundermike - how does the Eagles cap situation look after 2022?

But it looks like the Eagles are to clear things out short term with an influx of youth and reasonable contracts for the next couple of years. I wouldn't expect any significant noise from the Eagles until 2024.
