It's more than normal like there's some agenda to rally the Hurts haters or something. Fact of the matter is, and I commented to him about this before, Hurts gets this year and hopefully balls out so that we don't have to invest more picks on a QB or we waste a bunch of picks again on a QB and we have a serviceable back up until his contract is up or we decide to trade him. For the team though his success is paramount, then we can use those picks to really load up on some talent. I'm rooting for his success because it's in the team's best interest for another championship run, sure he has his flaws but players do improve. Even McNabb improved. His first two years were pretty pedestrian. We will know pretty fast whether Hurts put in the work and learned anything this off-season. This is his one shot likely :)

May 5, 20223 yr Look, even if AJ ultimately ends up being an average player here…this is really an incredible trade. This kid is 24, a phenom #1 WR, Pro Bowler and a good kid….and likely just entering his absolute prime. You make this trade 10/10 times.
