Wound up getting 6 PS4 games, 2 of them free. Packaged some with the second PS4 and sold on the eBay. Kept the games I wanted.

I am seeing that Ratchet is a launch title. Also...since Cyberpunk comes out on 11/19, it's essentially a launch title too, though the ps5 version may not coming out right away.

Best Buy (Syracuse at least) said all pre orders are online. Not doing them in stores (at least not now.. maybe next week).

Cyberpunk comes out on PS4, and it will be a backwards compatible title, but the official PS5 release doesn't have a release date.

It wasn't scripted. Sony ished the bed with it here in Australia at least.

Where I'm working at the moment they got notified of the prices this morning after the conference. Head office pushed it out online since all stores are delivery only at the moment due to lockdown. The pre-orders went up at about 10am, were sold out at 10.30. Not even the games guys in the store knew they had been released until they were and they have been dealing all day with blow back from customers who registered an expression of interest and were notified after the pre-orders had sold out. The next batch of consoles is expected in 2021 so if you weren't in the minority that got them then and there it's better luck next year.

So basically you have a sheet ton of angry customers that didn't get a chance at getting a console that they put down an expression of interest for back in March.

I pre-ordered Miles Morales and an extra controller.  I almost always get games digitally for all systems but PS5 will be a Christmas gift so I wanted the kids to be able to unwrap the game too.  All 3 loved the PS4 Spiderman game so the new one will be a huge hit with them.

I got the extra controller, the charging station and the HD camera, so my son can play Fortnite. I guess that's another launch title I will be enjoying.

That was included with Destruction All Stars (what in the 'uk is THAT! btw?!?!) in the only GameStop bundle I was able to buy. I am happy for Spider Man... though uncertain if the "remastered" PS4 version gets paired with that bundle, or if its purely the Miles Morales piece. Guessing it will be the later. 

Gamestop is so fn dirty with their bundle predatory practice.

I tried the digital version at like 2am and about an hour or so into it they finally told me they were sold out. So that's when I went back in and was able to finally get the disc drive one. Which is ok because I wanted to get the NBA2k21 kobe bryant special addition which don't want so much for playing I just want it for my collection of sports junk lol but probably still play it
