He still breaks off huge runs he has been in the top 10 since he came in the league for yards per carry and longest runs. He's had a few called back but, I agree it would be nice if he finished more off with the touchdown. Don't forget the first half of the season he was getting like 2 ( at times that's literally all we ran for entire games lol) carries a game with that bizarre play calling.

Yeah 2 to 3 carries a game was pretty awful game planning for sure, but it’s also true that every time they seem to want to lean on him he tends to break down some. It’s kind of hard to see where he actually fits in the grand scheme with so many things that are a problem. His drop off in pass catching, the fumbles, the lack of touchdowns, and injuries all seem to pile up and be an issue.

I agree, he needs to step up this year. He was trending in the right direction then dice left and he regressed. Duce probably wasn't all that but, I know miles loves duce and looked up to him.

I do love Scott, they need to stop bullsheeting with him and just let him start off with a bigger role

I think half our problem since Shady left is that we've had good committee guys but no bell cow, Sanders is what he is, he flatters to deceive but he isn't durable enough a 200 carry a year back and I don't think he ever will be, so he'll put up 5+ yards a carry but only on enough carries to get to 750 - 800 yards.  I don't think that's worth breaking the bank for. I don't know if Scott could do the heavy lifting either but he's as deserving of a shot as Sanders is.

I agree with you about Sanders for as much as I do like him. Like you said he isn't durable and he makes terrible mistakes. He flashes greatness but, he might be one of those guys that never puts it all together and doesn't deserve a second contract at this point.

If he shows the same this year maybe we can bring him back on a cheap deal as a playmaker in a rb committee. I doubt he would command much in free agency. 

Scott has shown up every single time he is called on and doesn't have an injury problem. So I think like you said he deserves as much of a shot as everyone else to be the lead back.
