I didn't play much of last years, the controls annoyed me since I could never get touch or lobs to work and everything was a bullet. It feels like this one is a bit more intuitive. I need to try out the franchise mode at some point 

is the new madden any good? and is there a difference between getting it on ps4 vs ps5?

Not sure if it's any good but, I'd imagine there will be a difference between the 2.

There is a free trial off Madden available on the ps store. It's supposed to be the full game. Also looks like all the new stuff for franchise mode and actual gameplay is all on the ps 5 version 

You want the PS5 version. The PS4 is at the point it's not the complete game and missing features. 

started playing far cry 6 with my boy from los pollos hermanos last night. so far it's decent. anybody here play it? 

i am definitely not a "gamer" and i suck at most games...but my kid introduced me to fallout 4 during covid & i've been playing it ever since. i needed something new so i'm hoping i can figure out far cry 6.

I have not played them -- though I think I would enjoy them -- because the are a First Person perspective which I've never cared for in video games. On the topic of Hermanos, I prefer Better Call Saul to Breaking Bad, and my guy Nacho from BCS I believe is the villain in FC4, with Fring being in he one you've mentioned. 

I've found myself playing back through the Horizon Zero Dawn Remake (was a $10 upgrade since I own the original) the past week or so since getting my PS5 Pro. These are similar style games I think where there is action/combat, but a lot of open world map allowing for exploration, character progression trees, choose-your-own-adventure sidequests that run parallel to the main story.

I had far cry 6, like @Agent23 I hate first person games. I didn't really enjoy it from the few hours i did play.

the exception I have made is some of the Resident Evil games (6 and 7 or maybe its 7 and 8?) because I have played the other games so I just dealt with it because I'm 25 years committed to the franchise at this point.

I liked the Wolfenstein series thats the only furst person i could ever get into. .. although im playing RoboCop right now and its epic lol

The only Far Cry game I really played was the original on my PC. That would have been a $0 copy that a mate gave me when we were in HS. They are all supposed to be pretty damn good, but I've just never gotten around to playing them 

I did manage to play the new COD on Gamepass and the campaign for that is surprisingly amazing
