Apparently Amadi was going to get cut by Seattle before the trade with the Eagles went down.

Well I'm sure the Eagles were probably going to cut JJAW anyways, can't complain with adding depth to the secondary.

Whether Amadi ends up being much better than our current backups remains to be seen, but it's not like we were going to get a bona-fide starter for someone that busted for us.

But given that I was expecting JJaw to be cut I guess it was a great deal. 😄

Problem is he is coming from the West and sounds like Nnamdi so....I expect him to be no better than a camp body (that likes to eat alone)!!

I don't think Amadi has a chance of sticking. We have plenty of miniature CB's as it is. Maddox will start at slot CB, Scott seems to have locked up a slot/safety/special teams roll and then there's Moreland whose a little taller butis basically a slot guy. 

Howie found a way not to cut his own draft pick, but in the end the result will be the same. JJAW and Amadi will both be on the street.
