Happy to take the win, but concerned with how they will match up with better teams.

Maybe it was the soft camp? Conditioning wasn't up to par yet? I'm hoping that's it.

They suffered a 2-5 start last year and barely beat the Lions today. Camp SiriSoft™ makes the team soft. It's a fact.

100% agree. I understand the concern, but it’s early and I’m hoping things slow down a bit for Hurts next week. They have to get Smith in on the action next week.

Hurts needs to get to the line sooner and audible when he sees a possible blitz. My only thought why he didn't was bc of how loud it was.

Who feels really happy right now? I wish I could. I really want to. But that was not great.

Me. We won. We can improve, but we won. I don't care if it was pretty, no bonus points for style

Can we work on tackling in practice please

That’s not allowed anymore

Alright, Monday night home opener next week. Need the Cows to lose tonight for the cherry on top.

This was a tough game.   Detroit came to play and the fans made a difference.

The defense, other than the pick 6, was awful IMO.     Hurts was poised IMO and the difference in the game.    He made some really clutch 3rd down plays.

I think it was a "solid” game for Hurts. Wasn’t spectacular, but he put up ~330 yards total offense, didn’t turn the ball over, and led the offense to 31 points. Certainly a good enough performance to win.

D is the blame for Goff and them coming back.    Offense put up a lot of production today.  We had 4 different players have Rush TD which is the most in 60 years.  AJ Exploded, when do our WR ever have 155 Yard games?   Jalen have over 300 combined yards.   Nobody is saying we don't need to improve but Defense gets the blame for the comeback to me even though they played a nice half.

Ugly game but I’ll take the road W. First meaningful action in a game for most starters.  Lots to clean up on both sides of the ball.  My biggest issue is with Gannon and the D, they have too much talent to look that bad.  Buck stops with him.

Hurts made plays and they put up 30+ so OK but that game didn’t show me maturation as a passer.  Detroit was generating a lot of pressure which will continue with other teams if he can’t show them that he can find the hot read for easy yards and big plays.

The only way that happens is if the play's first read is Smith.

When you don't actually have a real training camp, it takes about 6 games to catch up to NFL teams that start the season READY. Last year, it was 2-5. Soft ass team- due to camp SiriSoft™

Yeah, but in the gif you posted, a loser is talking about winning. 🤣

Hilarious watching the morons twist themselves into knots trying to find fault with hurts after putting up 31 points and over 300 yards, it is sad really

Jesus all the talk preseason was Brown wasn't going to put up numbers in this team, now he's putting up too many numbers,  the whole of NFL reporting think the Lions will be among the most improved teams, there's even a thread on this board about how this will be a tough game but apparently we should have battered them because they 'aren't the 85 Bears',  244 yards passing and 90 rushing with no turnovers and waddya know the jurors have returned an entirely unsurprising verdict of we suck and especially at QB.

Hurts was....POISED?? One read and panic is more like it. But ok, sure.

Goodell traded some level of power over 3-5 degenerates a year in exchange for players not having to practice.

Yeah my ignore list is filling up, they are not even worth talking to anymore

We all know week 1 is crazy and they got out of it with a win, I'm happy for that but man there are some concerns. Jalen Hurts still doesn't give me any confidence he's the guy and Gannon continues to be afraid of bringing any pressure.

If Gannon won’t bring the heat with our improved secondary, then I fear he never will. He’s my biggest concern on the team right now.

So you agree if not for a pick six we lose.

There is no way anyone wants Hurts to run that much…, well unless you aren’t a fan, and want him to get injured.

Without a right place right time pick 6 we lose

Gannon had an awful game, you can’t give up 35 to that team with that QB. Goff is terrible.
