September 11, 20223 yr I'm watching the Sirianni presser and I love the way he takes accountability for everything. No passing the buck, no defelction. That's quality.

September 11, 20223 yr It counts as a win in the record books. That’s all that matters rn. Besides the Bradberry pick-6, defense looked shaky. I like the new additions on D, but giving up 35 points is too much. AJ Brown is a game changer. Hurts ran too much. Where was DeVanta Smith?
September 11, 20223 yr This post-game presser tells me Sirianni gets it, and he understands. I am feeling confident in our future
September 11, 20223 yr A win is a win but... That was ugly and that was closer than it should have been.

Meh I was expecting a sloppy game and knew we weren't going to blow them out like many expected. Too many new pieces ... takes time to develop rapport with one another to all get on the same page. I'll be concerned if we still look this shaky after the first quarter of the season.

Also the Lions were clearly motivated about last year's blowout This is why when they were getting Blown out again, they didn't fold this time. They punched us back in the mouth. Defense just needs to get a little tighter. It was like Gannon was aggressive all game but got really passive at the end there. A Big Lead can always evaporate if your not careful. At the end of day, we won and that's all that matters. They won't take the foot off the gas in the future now when we get big leads going forward. They will learn from this. Props to the Lions for fighting. The Big Story of this game was AJ Brown and the Running game picking up where it left off.

It's only 1 game and the Lions were bringing a ton of pressure but we saw the same Hurts today that we saw last year and the games he started as a rookie. It's concerning is all I'm saying.

People gave up after the first drive of this game so your patience is not wanted around here!
September 11, 20223 yr A lot of factors in this one. Lots of questions too. The really stupid penalties, (too many men on the field on offense!?!) the slow start offensively, the poor finish by the offense and the defense. Was this a case of the Eagles having a lack of chemistry considering they sacrificed the preseason for health? Was this a case of new season and same Gannon defense? Did the Eagles get caught up in the press clippings and take this Lions team lightly? If so then there’s no wonder why Kelce went on the rant he did earlier in the week. Maybe this was a much needed wake-up call or it’s a bad sign of things to come. All I know is they’re not beating any good teams like this. Everyone needs to step up.

Bashing Hurts? Are you serious?
