How quickly will we say the Jags are weak if Jalen goes off for 400 yards and 4 total scores?

Seems to be the theme... Lions were supposed to be a tough team we won, well same old lions.

Supposed to get blown out by the Vikings kicked the sheet out of them and it's well they didn't play any defense.

Then came the commanders and they were supposed to be improved and it's always tough playing in the division and it was over at half time... Well they didn't have an offensive line.

So if we win, it was an easy game and doesn't mean anything for Hurts development lol.

So the jags kick the sheet out of the chargers ( who have not proven to be any good the last 10 yrs) so the jags are the real test for the eagles and Jalen? What happens to if we beat them handedly? Same old jags? Lol.

The Jaguars have fans?

Heard these guys have a good coach. I think he even won a super bowl one time.

Starting to look like Doug wasn't a fluke, but all the praise heaped on Reich was. Colts have been a dumpster fire with a lot of talent this season and previous.

People ignore the fact that Reich had to be saved by Doug from being fired. Fans of the colts haven't been very happy with Reich for 3 seasons now.

i really hope we lose a really well played game to push them mentally to be better and face adversity. Its an AFC opponent so doesnt hurt tiebreakers and will help lower some media expectations/hype. Eagles generally play better as an underdog. Also like Doug Pederson and he deserves some redemption for the way he was pushed out the door for finally trying to stand up for himself

This is horseshit, the Colts hadn't had a winning season or a play off appearance in 3 years and went 4-12 the season before Reich arrived, the only losing season in the 4 to date Reich has been there is the year Luck decided to retire suddenly (in August) and even then they managed to start 5-2 before falling away.

He's made bets on Vet QB's for 3 seasons because the rest of the roster was so good and it was the QB's that let him down, Rivers finally ragged his arm, Wentz collapsed down the stretch and Ryan is struggling (albeit their receiver corps has been thin) early season.  Who could the Colts have drafted this year to play QB better than even last chance saloon Ryan?

The Jags are beating dinged up teams early doors and all of a sudden Doug isn't the dullest most vanilla offensive coach in the league?

Sam Ehlinger outta Texas already on roster
dude has in my opinion a great chance to become a starter in a couple

Is it just me or does the feel of this game have letdown written all over it?  AFC team....Revenge for Dougie...Eagles smelling themselves...etc....I don't know, just has that feeling to it.  That being said....wouldn't surprise me with the way the Eagles are playing that they curb stomp the Jags.  Or..it could be really close!  So basically, have no freaking clue what to expect lmao

Let’s see a jags team coming off a huge blowout across the country going into back to back road games. I like our chances.

This.  Cross country road dawg with blowout win, the sharps will be fading Jags.

RG3 saying Dolphins are the best team in the NFL?

Dolphins are 2nd in passing, Eagles 4th (9 yrds diff). Dolphins are 31st in running, Eagles are 7th in running Dolphins are 31 against the pass, Eagles are 6th against the pass. Dolphins are 20th against run, Eagles are 18. Eagles have scored 86 Points, and only allowed 50 Points against. Dolphins 83PF, 64PA
Eagles are clearly the better team!

---------------------
As far as the Jaguars, I think Douggie P will make them better this year he already has 2 wins the same as the last Jaguars HC but Eagles should shut them down this week.

Jaguars scored 84 points, only allowed 38 points, Jaguars 13th in passing, 10 in rushing (which is the only concern i have since Eagles been allowing teams to run on them up the middle).

Jags are 21 against the pass, and the best against the run in the NFL only allowing 165 yards.

Dougie P going to force the Eagles to pass the ball to win.

The Jags are not just beating 'dinged up' teams. They just annihilated 2 NFL teams. Those teams were not the Jets, Panthers, Texans, Giants, or Bears.

Lots of people predicted the Colts and Chargers in the playoffs this year.

Every team in the NFL gets injuries. Bosa and Slater were not hurt before the Chargers Jags game.

The scores were 24-0 (against Lord Reich) and 38-10 on everyone's darlings the Chargers.

That's 62-10 against actual NFL teams that are not garbage.

Those 2 teams also played the Chiefs to a combined 44 to 44 in the same 2 weeks.

Everyone ridiculed the signing of Christian Kirk and he's been one of the best signings so far.

Devin Lloyd looks DROY good. No one should be surprised. Lots of us wanted him on the Eagles.

Their coach is a double improvement from pathetically inept to baseline and then again from baseline to Doug.

Football Outsiders has Hurts as their 5th best Weighted DVOA QB so far. They have Lawrence as 3rd best.

I still think the Eagles are the better team and they are at home. I think the Jags might lose by 7-10 this week but they also might win 10 games this year.

They are clearly the best team in their weak division so far. They might be one of the 3 best teams the Eagles face on their cupcake schedule.

You blame the Vet QB's. I blame the coach since he has been the constant. Doug Pederson is a much better coach than he was given credit for here.

Stop a good RB and shut down Dougie Dink n Dunk and the birds will be fine. Gannon needs to play press man and have epps in the box quite a bit. Lawrence isn’t there yet in terms of stretching the field from what I’ve seen and our CBS can handle it if they go that way, IMO

Yeah I think this is the week the Jags come back to earth

They just crushed the Chargers and Doug is coming for his revenge on Howie.

Oh well, at least this will no longer be a "trap" game. The Eagles will be ready for a challenge.

The Chargers are banged up and the game got out of hand.  Not saying we should take the Jags lightly because they are a good squad, but they did not beat a Charger team that is at full strength.

Bosa was injured in the first quarter of the Jags game.   Herbert was not himself with his injuries.   Indy hasn't won in J'Ville since 2016  I like the Jags and what Dougie has done with them, but this is also a team that lost on opening day against Washington

Jags scare nobody in Philly. 4-0

Don’t sleep on my Jags.. I know a bad team when I see one and the Jags have made a 180. Eagles are playing well at 3-0.

The Hurricane has the Jag  players scrambling to make sure their families and possessions are safe, needless to say that may be a major destraction getting the game plan together. But if any coach knows how to prepare for battle, its Doug Pederson. Jags 24 Eagles 21 on a last second field goal.

The Eagles are a year ahead of the jags and still have some players that have been there before. The point spread is accurate.

Well they did beat the Chiefs last week, and Matt Pryor is the team's starting LT.  I think the Colts are a way overrated team.

That’s sucks re the hurricane affecting your team. Hopefully everyone is safe.

Wouldn’t stress too much on preparation time, however. We barely practiced last week coming off a short week and still beat up on Washington. I think you guys will be fine.
